Shea Moisture Yucca & Plantain Anti-Breakage Shine Mist - 8 oz

I'm a dude and I use to love an OGX product that I can't find. I have short fine hair and hate using products to make it part right and stay, while feeling like there's nothing there. It's not the OGX I came to depend on, but it's the best I've found out there. I've tried so many others to have a natural look and feel, but this is the best I can find now. The only star missing is the scent, which really isn't bad, but it's not pleasant either.

This is a very greasy product. I purchased the exact same thing at a local drug store and was able to use it through out the day by spraying directly on my hair. It didn't leave it greasy. It was a lighter color also, but both bottles were identical.When I ran out I decided just to buy it on Amazon.This formula is different - but again I compared the bottles and it's identical! This formula is darker yellow and when I took it out I sprayed my hair down! I looked like I hadn't had a shower in a week it was soooo greasy! I compared the liquid and it was different!So same product two different places two different formulas.That being said - I did decide to use the product but I don't recommend spraying directly on your hair - three pumps in your hand and rub on your hair start at the roots where it is most dry.This helps against humidity but nothing is 100% it also helps your hair feel silky and smooth.I do recommend this product but just be careful because of the grease factor!I still have 5 stars because it's not the sellers fault the formula is different in the bottle at two different places. It's as if the first bottle from the drug store was watered down badly.Suggest seller check their supply to see all formulas are the same and if not maybe contact the distribution center they are buying from.

Can someone tell me the difference between the old & the new product? I noticed that the bottle looks different & so are the ingredients. The new one says it’s ok to spray on dry hair for shine, as not just on wet. So, I did…now I have a “wet” clunky & greasy look, & I prefer dry smooth “clean” look. I rewashed my hait & sprayed on wet towel dried hair - same problem, once dried. The old product must have been discontinued, but for me it was absolutely perfect. So, why did they mess with it? The old one was $10.99 for 4oz, & this garbage is $35 for 8oz.

a mixed guy with mostly 3b hair.I use this stuff throughout my whole hair rubbing it in with the strengthen and restore leave-in as opposed to just spraying it on the top of my hair. when doing that I find it leaves way less oil on your hand as you touch your hair through the daythis stuff also smells great all day long. could smell it on my hair when I move (and I always wear a bun at work so not like it moves through the wind all that much)

This spray is super lightweight and provides great hold. A little background on my hair - Its pin straight and almost anything will way it down! But this doesn't, it feels great and dries instantly. If you want something that will add texture and hold some curls in then this is it. But don't expect to see any major "thickening" . I feel that it just adds a bit texture which is why I rate it four stars instead of five. But still a good product.

Great product and I really miss being able to buy it at a reasonable price. It keeps my natural hair soft and well moisturized and has a very pleasant scent

This product have me thicker hair before the bottle was half way through.But when it finished I experienced alot of shedding, leading me to believe that I wasn't supposed to stop! !so hv been using it on and off and added peppermint, rosemary essential oils to it. And when it almost empty I add coconut oil to it to stretch it lol. But I like this product and now that my hair is in dreadlocks i dont get shedding like before.

Love this product. I have experienced thickness and some growth with this product line. My hair definitely has more moisture and a nice looser curl on my roots. I am glad that this carrier still carries this same product and the same line. I do not like the new line as I have heard not so good reviews about it and my hair does well with this one. I hope that Shea Moisture either brings back this line or does not do away with its Yucca and Baobab line.

It doesn't seep into the hair, so it got absorbed by my bonnet, hats and head phones instead. I air dry so I don't recommend this product if you do the same, I don't know what it's like with heat treatment. It also smells odd, not unpleasant just not pleasant either.

My one star rating is aimed DIRECTLY AT AMAZON & NOT THE PRODUCT!!!!Why have I received the Anti-breakage frizz-free shine mist & not the Thickening Moisture Mist?????? This is not the item I've ordered & not what I need for my hair, omg, I'm so annoyed with this, if it was cheap I'd be inclined to keep it but at £10 a bottle I WANT WHAT I'VE ORDERED & PAID FOR! I'll be taking this further!

I love this stuff!!!! its so moisturising and it makes my transitioning 4c hair so soft! I got my mum hooked on it too. its good to spritz on then put some shea butter on top. My hair just gets sooo ridiculously happy afterwards. its great on my mothers 4c hair too.

I gave this two stars because the product is really good, however when I received it, the bottle had opened and spilled over the other items I had bought.

Don't like the smell
