KuretakeZIG Letter pen COCOIRO (Blue Dusk) with Hard Brush tip, Black ink, Refillable

I was hoping this might work for drawing, but the black ink was not as dark as it could be. OK for casual correspondence, but not for drawing illustrations

Decided to try this pen and a brush insert to try some illustration/inking.The pen is very comfortable and works well.. my gripe is that the ink cartridge is exposed at the end of the pen when the cap is over the brush nib... something the photos and description fail to show...In no way does this effect the pen. Its an aesthetic that I didnt prefer and might have considered another choice had I known.

I am honestly very disappointed in this for the ink consumption compared to all of my other brush pens. I only did testing of the pen and it used up over 1.5 cm of ink in the ink cartridge. This would normally not even be noticeable in my other brush pens.I love the think thin ratio: as it is very flexible. I like the very thin lines.I love the color of the container. And yes you do get both the container and ink. It was assembled for me but the ink had a new plastic cover on it.Undecided if I would buy it again due only to ink consumption. The black is a beautiful dark black.

Felt tip pen. Great!

This was a good find. The bright colors available are a nice change of pace (mine's yellow but I think they come in many colors), and the nib is capable of putting down an exceedingly thin hairline. The oddity of the ink cartridge poking out of the end of the pen makes this pen stand out. But don't be confused like I was when I was setting it up: it's how it was designed.

I like this pen for fine lines, but I end up pressing harder than I expect to due to flow.

Took me a while to warm up to this pen- the tip is very stiff at first but once I got used to it I really like the lines I'm able to get out of it. This is now part of my EDC sketch bag.

I like the feel of the pen itself and line weight the it produced, but after I pulled 5 or 6 lines it dried out which sucks.

What have I learned? To read the description carefully. Disappointed when all I got was the shell of a pen. But looking further, that's all I was meant to get.

I bought Duck Egg Blue to go with Black refill I had bought and this Sakura Pink goes nicely with the pink/red refills. loving these pens.
