With lock down and remote work, exercise is always compromised - no gyms, restriction to outdoor activities and passive exercise like walking, running and climbing stairs etc being reduced to literally Nil - an indoor equipment to keep us active is the need of the hour (year perhaps) and WalkinPad R1 does come in very very handy with this!Pros:Lightweight, easy to set up (dont forget red safety pin as it wont start w/o it), easy to operate and kind of ready to use straight out of the box! Remote is simple and handy with the attachment string. Folding the handbar and the treadmill is as easy as it is seen on the adverts and in about 30 sec the whole thing just reduces to a flat 15cm box which can be dragged and stored out of the sight! Very happy with actual performance!iPad holder makes it handy to watch and exerciseAutomatic and manual modeBest Part: very silent even at highest speed (10km/hr) and can workout with TV or usual conversations with someone in the room.Cons: Price on Amazon is very very very high but I give it to demand/supply due to COVID19 situation!Need a holder for drinks bottle as that one thing is different than a conventional treadmill.Remote has no display/indicator light to know whether its on/off working/not !!Works better with shock absorbent mat*** Not sure if this can be used on higher floors of a house?! I use it on ground floor!The wheels gave scratches on engineered wood, so be cautious if you have wooden flooring!Could be great to see higher speeds (more than 10km/hr) and inclination options (hopefully newer versions)In manual mode, the remote must be with you all the time to control speeds (unlike standard treadmills where controls are on the front panels which keeps hands free)All in all - very good and high tech machine and there is value for money and this one equipment wont be lying there like most of other toys we spend fortunes on!

item arrived earlier then expected which is always a good thing. it is as described and I like it very much. had a run on it yesterday and everything functions fine as well.the only thing is that it doesn't arrive with UK plug (has a EU plug) so needs an adaptor to work.additional comments after using for 5 days continuously:*definitely center and calibrate the belt before first run. and lubricant if scratch noise is noticeable.*I'm 1.6m and average weight, find it easy to fold and unfold. usually I store it up right when not in use. It does feel heavy, so as long as you don't lift it off the ground should be ok. Although I do wish the designer included multi-directional wheels...* I have wood floor so didn't have problems that would occure on carpets. But I still find that I can reduce the notice level further with a insulation mat underneath. Especially when running.* For running the top speed is 10km/h (better than most of pad treadmills available in the UK market at 6km/h). Personal I like jogging speed of around 8-9km/h so this suits me fine. if you are a serious runner, this is not for you.* Personal I didn't like the app and also the automatic mode of the machine. Absolutely love the manual mode with the remote.* The phone and iPad stand is a good feature, although I wouldn't recommend having the iPad there while running, walking is fine.

The product was good and works very well.The issue is not with this product is with the provider. Due to a poor management the Provider and the Logistic distributor (TNT FedEx) they are charging me, as the final customer, the VAT corresponding to this product. After multiple notifications the sender is not communicating effectively with the logistic distributor and now I have a debt agency chasing me to pay Import Duty VAT associated to the purchase of this product. After hundreds of orders via Amazon this is the first time I have to deal with such a terrible problem. Horrible provider and poor job on Amazon not taking seriously the providers they allow in the platform.
