Very Reliable
This is a very dependable motor. I use it to pump heat from my wood stove to my hvac system. Despite the high heat it endures running 24 hours a day, seven days a week during the winter months, it will last you 15 years. When you begin to hear a bearing whine, don’t wait-replace immediately. Highly recommend.

Perfect fit good quality
Excellent was able to rebuild a outside grill hood vent which was a former double shafted nutone motor which was over 50 years old. Working perfect with the same old motor mounts. Great service and product.

retrofit
not sure if I can use it yet,I have a vintage Nutone stove it looks close except the wiring is a little different. I think I can make it work.my old one is still working but it is a two speed. I think this is a single speed. It does not specify in the specs on the listing. Needs better description!!!

Don't forget to order Two Bushings!!
I have ordered from CSH twice. Same items. I did not realize that I had made a mistake (only ordered one of the accessory bushings when I needed two). They included the second one without a mention of the issue. When I re-ordered I again only ordered one which though my mistake they sent out the extra at no charge. I offered to pay the extra but at a $2.00 part they said don't worry. Very Good Co.

Surprisingly easy to install and works like a champ. Would have liked to see some indication of spin direction, but making sure it goes in the same way as the old—and testing it with a toilet paper square after installation—worked for me.

Pain in the butt to swap
Thought I'd save some money by just swapping out the motor.Hahahahah.Getting the blower housing apart is like breaking into Fort Knox. Handfuls of tiny screws set deep in the housing where you can barely see or reach them. And of course it's all utterly caked in filth.Then you have to get the little collars off the axle. Yeah, have fun with that.Now reverse all these steps. Congratulations on saving $50.

Replacement motor for a bathroom fan
this was the closest replacement for the fan I had but it's slightly faster and louder than the original.
