Works with all my synths!
Plain and simple. Buy this one, it works with everything. Don’t buy cheaper. This is the one!

Works great
This unit is a life saver. requires no power which is amazing, just remember there are older MIDI keyboards out there like the Roland A-37 that do not product enough power to power this unit. It's rare though! I've used it a lot and have NOT had issues with stuck notes like one might expect in the cheap merger. Really works nice. Don't drop anything on it, it's light plastic!

Hubby loves this
Hubby was trying to figure out how to better isolate the sound coming from 3 keyboards and he found this device. He said it works perfect for his needs.

A bracket or even screwholes might be useful.
Used this for a MIDI controlled pedal board. The unit is powered by the MIDI loop switcher via phantom power, although I may have just been lucky in this regard, as others have found their devices do not power it. It seems to power up if any of the pedals are connected to it (Strymon, TC electronics). I gather you need 5 conductor MIDI cables for phantom power to work (some manufacturers use 5pins but 3 conductors) The unit does what it says in other respects. It is small enough to mount under the pedalboard. In this regard, however mounting options are not provided and I resorted to gluing the plastic casing and cable ties. A bracket, or even screwholes might be useful. The unit would fit snug between the rails of a pedaltrain board, but this would render the MIDI ports unusable.

It will work, to a point
Sometimes, there is power loss over the midi connections if you have just too many things hooked up to this. It has much less problems than a midi splitter Y cable though. Excellent bandaid. Would recommend to pay more for a MiO Midi box though.
