I have had Ring as my carrier for over three years, close to four I think. I recently purchased a new phone and debated about switching carriers, but I opted to stay with Ting because their customer service is truly outstanding. I am uber picky about tech and customer support, because I have worked in the field myself. So, while I may be patient where others are not, I am actually way more demanding. I have never had to wait on hold, and when necessary my calls were followed up by an associate immediately. I recently had a snafu inserting my sim card thanks to misplacing my eyeglasses and they were incredibly patient, no exhasperation, they even sent me a video to help. I don't travel much, so I don't use a lot of data and my bills are always below fourty bucks, if that. when I do leave home, I switch my data off to save money. Alao, I set a data alert so if I am getting close to my chosen cap I will be notified. I am in the South East US and have had excellent coverage the entire I-95 corridor. I am on the Sprint network , but my last phone with them used AT&T and I had great coverage then as well. Overall, if you are looking for affordable, good coverage and bringing your own device chd knour their site. I think if you are in a major metro area you will pleased

Overall I'm very happy with Ting after using Mint mobile and red rocket (?). Customer service is fast and nice both online and by phone. Dial 611 it goes to a representative directly in 15 seconds.Be sure to check phone compatibility with Verizon and T-Mobile. V1 sim runs on Verizon network and X1 sim runs on T-Mobile. Turns out my old iPhone 6s only works on T-Mobile data but I activated Verizon network without knowing the difference. Customer service fixed the problem.

My SIM cards came right on time - the package contained two different cards. The preferred card was labeled V1, and the 2nd card was labeled X1. While not documented, V1 is Verizon's network while X1 is T-Mobile. I used the V1 card, installed it, and followed the website instructions. I was porting a number over, and the port took about 48 hours. My phone activated on the new SIM with no problems.

Easy to install, works great with phone to connect to Ting. My new phone was easy to connect to their services. Nice to be able to get the card at Amazon for quick delivery and good price.

Cost is cheap

worked fine in my new to me iphone 8

Could not activate overseas which is the only time I need it. They said it won't activate overseas even though they allow international roaming.

I didn't like the set up plus data is outrageous.
