Seamless and Sturdy, Delivers Excellent Performance at an Great Price
I purchased the nonda USB C to USB Adapter (2 Pack) for my MacBook Pro 2021 at the unbeatable price of just £5.19 in Grey, and I must say, they have been an excellent addition to my accessories. These adapters allow seamless use of USB-A accessories with my USB-C ports, and they perform flawlessly.I am unable to comment on the color matching as I opted for a different color than my MacBook. The build quality of these adapters is truly impressive. They feel sturdy and well-made, and upon using them, I can confirm that they just work as intended without any issues. There were no connection problems, and I experienced no dropouts or data transfer hiccups. It's worth mentioning that you cannot use two of these adapters side by side due to the MacBook design, but honestly, that hasn't posed any problem for me during regular usage. At such an affordable price, the nonda USB C to USB Adapter (2 Pack) is a fantastic value for money. They provide an affordable solution for connecting my USB-A devices to my MacBook Pro with USB-C ports. If you're in need of reliable and efficient adapters, I highly recommend giving these a try. The quality and performance are fantastic, making them an excellent value for money.

Good speeds and reliable adapter.
Small and compact adapter which works well running older USB B devices on my MacBook Pro (which only has USB C ports) found it very reliable and has worked with all devices I’ve used it with so far, very handy item to keep with the laptop.

Simple to use and great performance
The adapter works as expected and sits flush with the laptop. They’re simple to use and are Plug and Play so work straight out of the box without drivers or other software. The fact that this is a 2-pack makes it even better value as it means I have a spare for when I inevitability lose one. There are two downsides, in my opinion. Firstly, they are too wide to use both simultaneously on a MacBook Air (I would assume this is also the case for the MacBook Pro). Secondly, the gold version doesn’t match the gold MacBook Air M1. It’s more of a yellow gold but it’s only cosmetic and doesn’t not impact performance. In hindsight, I would buy the space grey version just because the gold colour doesn’t match and it is the darkest colour available. For the price and performance, I’d definitely recommend these adapters.

Just what the Macbook ordered
Recent Macbooks (and Windows devices, such as the Dell XPS) only have USB-C connectivity to the world, which, by and large, hasn't caught up and is still using large USB Type A connectors for USB 3,2 and 1. These little converters should be standard issue with Macbooks, etc, but they aren't.As I needed to buy them I was looking for something substantial and not too expensive. At £6 this double pack does the job admirably. They are metal bodied, so are effectively shielded from emitting interference that could knock out wireless devices (like mice and keyboards); this also makes them nice and solid - you won't bend these easily. They are about an inch long so don't take up much space and don't tilt downwards when a Type A plug is inserted (as can happen with larger dongles). They are a good solid fit so shouldn't come loose. They are a dark grey in colour (space grey ?), have a useful finger grip on the sides, making them easier to remove from sockets and feel substantial. The only down side I can see is that the USB 'tongue' is grey, not blue as is the norm for USB-3 devices. Not important, but a minor detail, certainly not worth removing a star for.

USBC to USB3 adaptor...pleasantly surprised!
Due to my old MacBook Pro frying its graphics chip, I've been forced to purchase a newer model (decided on a 2018) which of course comes equipped with 4 x USBC ports. I have amassed a collection of cables which plugged into my old MacBook utilising USB2, USB3, RJ45 and mini Display Port, so the problem was how am I going to use all my peripherals without running out of ports or purchasing lots of new cables. Well, part of the answer was to purchase these Nonda USB3 to USBC adaptors.I'd never heard of Nonda, but based on their small size (approx 16mm width) they looked ideal to terminate my USB3 cables. Good value at 2 in a pack for £8.60, but to be honest I didn't have high hopes for the quality. However, they arrived very quickly and I was pleasantly surprised on opening the simple but adequate packaging, that the case is machined aluminium with a silky smooth anodised finish...very nice indeed. The colour blends well with the Space Gray Macbook Pro, but not an exact match...this isn't a problem for me.So do they work? Yes perfectly! Pushed them onto the ends of my USB 2 and 3 cables and plugged them in the MacBook where they entered the socket with a firm push ending in an audible and tactile click. Nice and secure! As always the USB2/3 cable is a reasonably secure push fit into the adaptor, it could be pulled out if you tried hard enough, but if its critical it doesn't get removed, I would personally tape it to the adaptor. This is a failing of USB 2/3 design and no reflection on the Nonda product. On each side of the adaptor are some very finely knurled grip panels. I'm guessing this is pressed or cast into the surface, not as sharp as cut knurling but does the job equally and perfect for grasping the adaptor when removing. It's worth noting that you can't fit two of these adaptors side by side in the MacBook as there isn't enough room between the two USBC inputs. On the basis of the above I would certainly recommend them but I can't comment on the durability of of these small adaptors as I've only just received them, but they look like they will last. Almost forgot, if you register them on the Nonda website, you get an additional 2 years warranty...so 3 years warranty in all. 👍
