Skar Audio EVL-8 D4 8" 1200 Watt Max Power Dual 4 Ohm Car Subwoofer

I am very impressed with the quality and performance. I was wanting a little bass for my basic stock sound for my ride and it has done far more than I was expecting. The sound is crystal clear and plays very powerful in the box skar recommend ( hits them deep lows ). Speaker was a perfect fit in the box and looks very good. I would say in my opinion that it is well worth the money and more than I need for a normal daily drive but, I will keep it for sure.

I cannot believe how much bass this little guy puts out. If you want to keep your trunk space and add tons of bass, this is a great buy. It is power hungry, so you will want a good 1200w amplifier. Look up "amp dyno" on youtube. This is a great reference for a good amp. I purchased the "Soundstream TXP1.6000D" on amazon. 1200w @ 2 ohms.CON: I did not like how close the mounting screw location is very close to the hole that the speaker fits in. Shipping was high. However, the price that they are selling for offsets the shipping cost. Still a fair price in total.

This sub in a 1 cu box at 38 hz really sounded great. I could honestly say this could compare to a decent single 12 sent up. small but mighty 🔥🔊🦍.

Very nice quality and they get rowdy!! Not gonna win competitions, but they hit hard and hit the lows as well. Currently running them in a Skar ported box, and have a 1,500 watt CT sounds amp. Everywhere I turn it up, people swear I have 12’s. Puts the two 10’s I had from Kicker to shame!!

The media could not be loaded. These things boom! Took a little time to loosen them up, but I am glad I got em. I am a fan of skar. I replaced 2 vd10s in a down fire box under the back seat of an f150. These new subs are great! I also have a vfx15d2 in a D4S pre fab box. Skar audio is an excellent sub for its price point. I have never had any issues with any of my skar subs I have owned. But as long as you set your gains correctly you should never have an issue.

These 8s are great providing a great quality sound and handling a lot of wattage.
