Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 32GB USB Type-A and USB Type-C Flash Drive

Really solid metal - like this a lot.

Whether it's moving files around (especially between USB & USB-C devices) or backing up as you go along, I'm really impressed with this versatile stick. It's surprisingly small and beautifully sculpted. I've put a cord on mine so I don't lose it. If you're writing or editing something important and want extra peace of mind, even though you may be using the Cloud, I think you can't beat something like this. The Cloud CAN fail, Cloud apps CAN crash (even Swiss ones) and lose valuable work, it is just one form of backup, the Cloud is NOT, repeat NOT, infallible. I paid £14.99 for a 32Gb stick and I'm happy with that, the quality is very good.

This is the second one of these drives I have bought, to transfer files and photos between my Windows 10 PC and my phone. Mistakenly, I bought a 64GB version and found that I couldn't format it in the required file type, and the drive wasn't recognised by my phone. Totally my fault, I should have paid attention. This 32GB one works fine so far, using the SanDisk Memory Zone software. The alloy body of the drive seems sturdy, and in my view is worth the extra cost over the plastic one. As many others have mentioned, it does get quite warm, as I guess the metal housing is also used as a heat sink for the memory chip. If you have delicate skin, it may be worth using a paper towel during removal after use.

Just got a new car (Skoda Fabia) which has an "infotainment" system, which reads music data via USB C ports. Tried various devices and adaptors - even MicroSD cards - none worked, reporting USB and other errors. The SanDisk device has worked every time, with no problems at all!!

Nearly perfect. Because it's a 32 Gb drive it will always come up in a PC with a error which is simple to fix through the prompts or you could re-format it as NTFS. I keep them as FAT32 as I use them for the 3D printers. Only tiny issue is that there's no dust cap provided.

I'm giving this USB drive a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. It's exactly what I needed for my setup! I use this drive to store my favorite music for playing in my car, and it works flawlessly for this purpose. The dual connector design is absolutely perfect for my situation - my computer only has USB-A ports while my car only has USB-C, so having both connectors on one drive eliminates the need for any adapters. The metal casing does get quite hot when the car is running, sometimes almost too hot to touch comfortably. However, this heat issue doesn't affect the functionality at all - the drive continues to work perfectly and plays my music without any interruptions or data corruption issues. The build quality feels solid and durable. The dual connector mechanism works smoothly, and both ends connect securely to their respective ports. Transfer speeds are good for loading music files, and the capacity is plenty for my music collection. For anyone dealing with the same USB-A to USB-C compatibility issue, especially for car audio systems, this is an ideal solution. The convenience of not needing separate adapters more than makes up for the heat issue, which is really more of a minor inconvenience than a real problem. Highly recommended for car audio use or any situation where you need both connector types!
