Diamond CandyWomen's Waterproof Rain Jacket with Hood Lightweight Outdoors Raincoat

I am very pleased with this rain jacket. It does repel water, I don't know how long it would hold out the rain but for doing errands or taking a walk on a rainy day it does just fine. I don't plan on spending a day in pouring rain to find out!. It is light weight, soft and very comfortable. I like the little bit of liner, it kept me warm enough in very windy 64º weather. It has 3 zippered outside pockets and one inside chest pocket that fits a cell phone comfortably. It is a nice looking jacket. I 'm 5' 7", 135 lbs, slim, I purchased the medium and it fits perfectly.

I got this rain jacket for my trip to ireland. It worked absolutely amazing. Kept me dry in the frequent misty rains, dried quickly. Worked great as a wind breaker as well. Loved the attached hood and Velcro cuffed sleeves. Hood is adjustable and you can make it tight around your head to keep out rain or wind and cold. I wore it alot unzipped even when I wasn’t cold and was walking around alot and didn’t want to carry it. It’s light enough that it didn’t make me hot in weather about 60-70 degrees. Awesome purchase. I had the light blue and gray. Went really nice w all my outfits.

I wished it had a double zipper so I could zip open the bottom while having the top closed. It is a little shorter than I’d have loved. Overall it is a good buy. It is waterproof, I’m pleased. The lining is not too thick. I thought I’d be too warm wearing it, but it worked well. Used it in the bwca in a torrential down pour and I stayed dry. It does not have air vents under the arms. May be nice in a misty condition.

I bought this jacket to take on a recent tour of Norway. I had read that in Bergen, Norway it rains over 260 days out of the year and sure enough we were there on a very rainy day. This jacket was perfect. It kept me dry and does a terrific job as a windbreaker. I especially liked the ability to zip the hood off, if all I needed was a windbreaker (perfect walking on deck of a ship). Also, the hood had side adjustment straps that you can pull to tighten the hood on your head to prevent it from blowing off in a high wind. Great design! The Small jacket was roomy enough for me at 125 lbs and 5'4" to wear some layers underneath including a packable down jacket. I loved the color and the cut of the jacket is flattering. The jacket was thin enough for me to roll it up and store it when it wasn't needed in my day pack (see review of Owala sling bag). The only reason I can't give this a 5 star is that I'm uncertain it would hold up alone in a downpour since we used an umbrella when the rain got very heavy. It kept me dry in a light rain without umbrella.

It looks great and is light weight and easily fits even in a backpack. Got it for a cousin who is 5.3” and weighs about 145 lbs., medium size fits perfectly. Very good jacket for wearing on hikes. Is not warm for very cold weather, but protects from winds and is good enough for spring and fall outings. Hasn’t been worn in rain yet but the material looks waterproof. The Velcro on sleeves is very useful to adjust them. The cap is also adjustable and can be made to fit and protect the face and neck completely. Overall it is a good jacket both in looks and in functionality.

What's not to like? This well-priced and well made rain jacket is perfect for our temperate, rainy Pacific Northwest climate. All pockets have zippers, the hood is removable. This sturdy but lightweight jacket has become my go to jacket--the one I bring along on errands and trips 'just in case'.

Purchased for an Alaskan Cruise. Color vibrant. Fit perfect. Not only shielded me from the rain, but as I stood in the front of the boat with the wind beating me across the face as we came upon the glacier, what you see under my chin was actually what goes across your face protected me 100%! The best investment ever. True to size. Has a slight flannel lining. I layered it with a fleece jacket and kept warm and dry the entire time. 5’8”, 203, size 16 (XL) regular size. However, I bought a size larger to accommodate layering. Oh, did I say pockets galore? Zipped no less.

Sleeves too long

This is the second coat I have bought. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable. I love the colours and attention to detail. I wear it when it is cooler and damp out.

I like the fit and the look of this jacket very much. I chose dark green. I bought it for spring/fall weather and it is roomy enough to put a sweater underdneath. The hood is a nice size; no gaping at the sides. The length is good, I'm 5'3" and it falls just below my butt.

Surprisingly warm for such a light jacket . Have only worn it twice for dog walking but the rain was quite heavy and I was completely dry. It is also windproof. It is generously sized and should easily accommodate a heavy jumper when winter starts in earnest. Very happy with it so far.

Mrs has a traditional long rain jacket which isn’t quite ideal for biking, its lightweight and quite comfortable. She already has rain jackets in black, purple, pink and blue. So thought of giving her a surprise with a different colour that isn’t long and at the same time can be worn whilst biking. I wanted something light weight and not very expensive and neither very cheap but at the same time a bit of a different colour.I was really taken a back when I opened the package. The Jacket really surpasses the quality that we have from – Regatta. The jacket is well made and has no uneven stitching anywhere. The jacket has reflectors which is helpful for night walks. Each pocket on each side has zip with again reflector on the sides. It surprised me with a pocket inside at the chest area, which you don’t get in most of the top brands for that price bracket. The pocket is quite deeps which easily takes Samsung S10 – it’s a sizable mobile. Additionally there is another zipped pocket on the outside top left side of the chest again has a reflector.The hood can be detached from the jacket giving a good fashion look.The finale was as soon as she wore the jacket it really impressed her with the fitting – Medium, giving a nice shape, fits perfect– picture attached for info.I contacted the seller to check if they have any other colour as my eldest wants it so badly, but again looking for a different colour, unfortunately they don’t have it or she may go for a green.NOTE: I found this is a good jacket for the budget price with good quality, you may or may not prefer a non-branded jacket but this has certainly made me think – not all made in china products are cheap quality for the cheap price.
