The ball is great as far as the lighting goes. Makes for fun evenings after the sun goes down and your kids will love shooting with it. Only negative is that the ball is a little heavier than a traditional ball and isn't as bouncy as a traditional ball.

Fun Glow and Good Customer Support
Basketball does have a dead spot, but we don’t play competitively like that. We bought it for the glow and it’s really fun that way.Our half of our string of lights went out before a month of ownership, but I contacted customer support and they replaced the item promptly. Very happy with the communication.We get to shoot hoops at night after the desert sun sets. So much fun!

The leds with changeable batteries are not good. Rechargeable is the best option.
The basketball leds don't last and they become faulty after 3 or 4 uses. I changed the batteries and it worked 2 times after that and now they don't work anymore. Instead I'm going to get a basketball where the battery is rechargeable.
