It works. It was cheap.
It is a knock-off of the original remote, and it works. It feels cheap and that's because it IS cheap. But it works so who cares? Just don't expect it to last years and years like the original you lost!

Know your receiver
Does not work with STR-DA2000ES as suggested in "ask about this product"

Functionally Equivalent to RM-AAU217 (for newer STR-ZA5000-ES, ZA1100ES, etc.)
For around $10, I bought this RM-AAU210 remote for a used STR-ZA2000ES receiver, and it worked perfectly. Later, I purchased a used STR-ZA5000ES receiver and noticed its specified remote was RM-AAU217, which runs $35+, if you can even find one in stock! A side-by-side picture of both remotes shows the button layout is identical, but I couldn't find any information online VERIFYING that these two remotes were interchangeable. Rather than spend $$$ chasing the RM-AAU217, I just waited for the new receiver to arrive, and simply tried out the RM-AAU210 remote with the newer receiver. It controls everything just fine! So, save your money! You're welcome.

Hardly works
This remote was supposed to be a replacement for a Denon receiver. The only thing that works is turning the power on and off and only works occasionally. Waste of money!
