This may cost only $1 at most stores, but you're really better off spending more for a quality white nail polish. This one takes at least three coats to reach a decent opacity, yet is still awfully streaky, not just in appearance, but in texture. If you want to use this as a base for nail art, you will have a terrible time, as this does not lend a smooth surface to the nail and will cause skipping. I don't know how in the world such a poor quality nail polish could be used for French tips. Even the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in White On is better.
