Great Budget Camera
I was choosing between a few different cameras and after trying them all for a couple hours, at different times of day, I decided to go with this one. It's really simple to use, just plug it in and your computer should recognize it. If you have any issues you can go to your camera settings and find the device, there you can toggle it on and off and adjust some settings (for Windows). The video quality seems good on both my end and the people I am video calling with. I have also had pretty positive feedback on the built in microphone so, if you don't have a headset with a mic, this one works pretty good. The camera has a pretty wide field of view which can be both a positive or a negative depending on your needs. Personally I prefer a slightly smaller field of view so that the room behind me isn't being show so much, you can zoom the camera in the settings but it's not quite the same as narrowing the field of view. My only other minor complaint is with the privacy cover over the camera. It works fine but I would prefer one that slides over the camera instead of flips up/ down. I can already notice the little flip getting looser since I purchased it so my concern is it not staying open in the future. That being said, I've had no issues with it so far and definitely recommend the camera.

Good on some video calls....
The quality of this camera is great, and I bought it specifically because my old one wasn’t performing well on Streamyard. For that platform, it works really well — clear picture and no issues. However, when I switched back to my usual Zoom meetings, the performance wasn’t the same. The audio had a slight echo, and I ended up switching back to my original camera for Zoom. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it was noticeable enough to take off one star. Overall, it’s a good camera with strong quality for certain platforms, just not perfect across the board.

Best Value Webcam I’ve Bought for My Studio
This has been my favorite studio purchase by far. The video quality is surprisingly good for the price, and if I remember correctly it was about $100 cheaper than comparable Logitech webcams. The resolution looks amazing for what you pay, and it has been more than enough for my recording and studio setup. I personally don’t use the built-in microphone since I run a standalone mic, so I can’t really judge the audio quality, but for video performance alone this camera is an excellent value. If you’re looking for a high-quality webcam without paying premium brand pricing, this one is hard to beat.

Excellent Webcam for Home, Office, and Everything In-Between!
I recently purchased this webcam after looking for an affordable yet high-quality option for both professional and personal use, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. From unboxing to daily use, this camera has exceeded my expectations in just about every category. Let’s start with the video quality—it's truly excellent for the price. The camera captures a crisp and clear image, and the fact that it maintains sharp focus between 19.6 inches to 13 feet makes it incredibly versatile. Whether I’m sitting right at my desk or presenting on a whiteboard from several feet away, everything stays in focus without any manual adjustments. This fixed focal length is surprisingly reliable and well-optimized for indoor settings like home offices, conference rooms, or classrooms. One standout feature is the wide 110° angle of view. It’s ideal for presentations, interviews, and collaborative sessions where more of the background or multiple people need to be in frame. While it’s a fixed lens, you still have some flexibility thanks to the digital zoom and field-of-view adjustment options via the NexiGo software. I downloaded the software from the manufacturer’s site with no issues, and it provides simple yet effective customization options, including exposure and zoom settings. The built-in noise-canceling microphone is another high point. I didn’t expect studio-level sound, but I’ve been impressed by how well it cuts down background noise. I work from home with occasional ambient noise (kids, kitchen clatter, etc.), and this mic still delivers clear, understandable audio. It’s perfect for everything from Zoom meetings and online classes to Twitch streams and video recordings. I’ve also used it for OBS and YouTube videos, and the quality is perfectly acceptable for professional content. The privacy cover is a simple but very much appreciated addition. It slides on easily and gives me peace of mind knowing the lens is covered when not in use. In this day and age, a built-in privacy cover should be standard, and I’m glad this webcam includes one right out of the box. Setup couldn’t be easier—just plug and play. It connected instantly to my Windows 10 laptop via USB 3.0, no drivers required. I was up and running within a minute. The webcam also works on my MacBook and even my Linux system, which is rare for many peripherals. It's worth noting that it is not compatible with gaming consoles like Xbox or PlayStation, but that wasn’t a concern for me. Overall, this webcam checks all the boxes: crystal-clear video, adjustable settings, noise-reducing audio, wide compatibility, and a privacy shield. For video conferencing, content creation, or even casual chatting with friends and family, this camera performs beautifully. At this price point, it’s a fantastic value and one I’d absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable webcam for everyday use.

Performance and Clarity
I recently upgraded to the NexiGo N60 1080P Webcam, and I couldn't be happier with the performance it offers at this price point. It’s a massive step up from my laptop’s built-in camera, providing the quality and control needed for professional video calls and online meetings. Performance and Clarity The 1080P resolution at 30fps delivers sharp, clear video quality that is perfect for everyday use. While it has a fixed focus, the image is consistently crisp and the 60-degree field of view is ideal for framing a single user without catching too much background clutter. The built-in microphone, which features noise reduction, performs surprisingly well for voice clarity in typical home office environments. Must-Have Control and Security The two features that truly elevate the N60 are the Software Control and the Physical Privacy Cover: Software Control: Being able to use the NexiGo software to manually adjust settings like exposure and white balance is fantastic. It allows you to quickly compensate for poor lighting conditions without relying on automatic—and often erratic—camera adjustments. Privacy Cover: The inclusion of a simple, sliding physical privacy cover offers crucial peace of mind. It’s a simple security measure that ensures the camera is completely blocked when not in use. Final Verdict The NexiGo N60 is a reliable, plug-and-play webcam that delivers essential features without the high-end price tag. It’s perfect for remote professionals, students, or anyone who needs a solid, trustworthy camera with great picture quality and the added security of a privacy cover. Highly recommended for dependable daily video conferencing.

Mac Users Read This
I have the latest Mac mini running Ventura 13.4.1. The Mac has a feature called Continuity Camera where you can use your iPhone as a webcam. I also have a 2022 MacBook Air running the same version of MacOS. The Air has a built in camera so really no need to use the iPhone except that if you do you have some control over lighting, depth of field and Center Stage where it keeps the subject centered (within reason) if you move around. Continuity Camera works fine on the MacBook Air but does not work at all on the Mac Mini. The phone is not even recognized in FaceTime. After several long phone calls with Apple support I finally reached a senior advisor who knew exactly what the problem was. He said now this going to sound strange but in order to use your iPhone as a webcam on your Mac (this also applies to all versions of the Mini, the Mac Studio and the Mac Pro) you must first have a third party webcam attached. What? That made no sense. So taking him at his word I ordered this webcam. I first connected it through my hub and it didn't work. Not a big surprise because a lot of USB devices balk at being connected through a hub. I connected it directly to the Mac and it immediately popped up in FaceTime with a very good picture. I looked at the drop down menu in FaceTime for available video devices and it was listed with a check beside it indicating it was the one in use. To my surprise also listed was my iPhone 11Pro two rooms down as an available device. I unlocked my 14 Pro Max and it popped up as another available device. So the advisor was right. Once I connected the Nexigo all the other phones became available, even my SE 2020. So I had 4 cameras available where before I didn't have any. So why the one star review? When I exited FaceTime and then restarted I had a black screen and no menus. A notice popped up that no video was being received from the Nexigo and restarting the computer may solve the problem. This despite the fact the green LED was on indicating it was in use. So I restarted the computer and problem solved. All the phones were listed and the Nexigo was working as my default. So I exited FaceTime and noticed that the green LED was still on even though no app was using the camera. So I restarted FaceTime and no image but I did get the popup again that restarting may fix it. It did. I went through this at least 10 times with the same results. I never turn my computer off so having to restart every time I wanted to use FaceTime was a pain. The image quality from the webcam was excellent, so much so that I really didn't see a need to use the iPhones as a webcam. But having to restart every time I wanted to use it was a pain. Additionally the software you can download from the App Store that gives you a lot of control over the webcam has not been updated in over a year. The Mac has been through two major operating system updates in that time frame. When I downloaded and installed it wouldn't even open. That speaks volumes about the company's committment. Even when it is working it does not show as a device in the Mac's system information report. It is important to note that all of this pertains to Mac. I have no experience with it in a Windows computer.

good camera but lacks some advertised features
works well overall but lacks some functionality advertised in the listing. the listing says this model has 2x zoom function but according to the software, which is extremely bare bones btw, and according the the model comparison chart on their own website this model does not have a 2x digital zoom which is annoying as that is one of the reasons I was fine going with a widescreen webcam. On the topic of the software, would love to be able to do things like being able to crop the output at least as I don't always need everything being shown, but they suggest using secondary programs like obs to do that for them instead. I know this is a budget webcam but I would expect at least the advertising to be accurate and more than the basic color correction from their software
