This product doesnt really split your internet connection. I had initially hooked it up from my router out to my smart tv and the other side to my ps4, it doesn't work, it cuts the internet connection off all together. I dont need my smart tv and ps4's internet on at the same time but I figured if I turned my ps4 on it would take the connection. Not so, the smart tv always takes the connection and the ps4s internet gets cut off. Oh well back to the drawing board, 3 stars

I was expecting to get a Ethernet splitter. In a way, that is what I got, but I didn't read all the details in the description. I wanted to be able to connect 2 Ethernet cords to the main Ethernet cord and be able to access internet from both of those branch cords. This is not a splitter. You can only use one of the extensions at a time. For example: If you have a gaming console and a computer hooked up to the two branches, you need to either disconnect one or turn one off while using the other because they both will not receive internet at the same time. Otherwise, this product works great just how they say it does in their description.

I either received a defective device (which I don't believe that I did) or the other reviews are false. This adapter is not an adapter, it is essentially an "extension cord." I attempted to plug one cable to my desktop and the other to a docking station for my work laptop. If both cables are even plugged in to both the adapter and the devices, even with one of the devices completely powered off (I even pulled the plug on the docking station since it has power running to it continuously otherwise), the other device cannot connect to the internet. It will recognize the connection, but not allow it to connect. As soon as I unplug the cable at the 2nd device or the adapter, it works for the powered on device. So it does allow a connection through it, and as an extension allows me to swap the cables more easily (than having to move a piece of furniture covering up the wall ethernet outlet), but not as advertised.

I don't think it really works or my Signal is too weak to split. I think you really need a booster included to make it suit my needs. On the other hand, if you know what you're getting into, you're probably OK. Can't really complain at the price.I'll still keep it.

Works as it should

As the reviewer states this splitter only allows one of the two outlets to work at any given time. It works but is an inconvenience. If I ever needed both to access the internet it would not work.
