Tough 1 600 Denier Waterproof Horse Sheet

I needed another sheet quickly. I could not find my perfered brand (weather beta) locally in the size I wanted. So I ordered this one just to get by until my Wetherbeta arrived. I love my prime account and my two day shipping.I received it on time but I was was disappointed from the get go as far as the sheet was concearned. The frabric seemed light even for 600 denier. The straps and hardware were also a disappointment. Thin material and cheaply made.I put the sheet on the horse in a light rain.2 hours later it was soaked through.Live and learn. Don’t wast your time with this brand.Would give negivite stars if possible.

The media could not be loaded.  Really nice for turning my horse out to lunge in the wet weather. Where I board were not allowed to turn out in the covered arenas because of the expensive footing, so we have to turn out in the wet outdoor and when my horse rolls out there he gets so gross, so I got this so that when he does roll he won't get so yucky. Good fit and durable so far but I don't leave it on him all the time, just when I turn out in the outdoor arena. He hasn't rolled in it yet so I can't say how waterproof it is, but I'm sure itlll be fine since other folks at the barn use these for the same reason :) nice hunter green color, and light weight enough that you could wash it in the washer at home.

I read so many reviews on so many jackets. This one had good reviews and an amazing price. My Paint, Gunny wore this every night during the horrible Texas storm and has held up wonderfully. No tears, no pulls. It sewn beautifully. I am so happy with my purchase!!!

I live in Texas where it can be hot during the day and rain at night with lots of wind. Spring is a very mixed bag, too warm for a blanket, to wet and windy for nothing at all. So this year I bought a rain sheet. It works great!! Fits my 16hh TB beautifully, keeps him dry and keeps the wind out. He is pastured 24/7 and is 16 years old, so he can get cold pretty easy when you mix wet and wind. Because this has no fill, I was able to leave this on him during the nice day without him sweating to death, and know that if a storm popped up at night (as it frequently does), he would be fine. He is long bodied and I got a 78". Fits perfectly. I was even able to fold it and get it back in the storage bag.

When I received the rain sheet I thought it had bee, a good choice. Seemed well made, went to the size bigger as he was between sizes. Good coverage. It rained that night, I live in Arizona desert not snow country. My horse has a shelter to be out of the weather. He uses it when it rains. I went out in the morning happy he had a new rain sheet. He was wet under it ! The next night same thing. This rain sheet does not do the job. I'm sorry I bought it and if you want a dry horse this is not what you want. I'm going to have to buy another turnout.Shipping cost to much to return, I'm so disappointed.

Purchased this for a leased mare in Florida where the nights have been 46 once per week lately. She is body clipped and needed some light protection from wind and chill over night. We have had this in a different color and size for a quarter horse for 3 years, that one still looks new so we picked it again.Weight is similar to a windbreaker that has a few layers. Not super light, not thick. It's sturdy and just right. We put a fleece cooler under it if the night is very chilly or windyThis tends to run a touch big. The quarterhorse gelding is 15h2, the 78 is big on him. Looks a bit like a kid borrowing his dad's coat. Purchased 72 for the warmblood mare with a shorter body and hers fits better.I would prefer if the trim wasn't brown but at least the aqua color is pretty

This sheet does NOT breathe. After one night's use, my mare's coat was damp and cold after it had rained overnight. I thought the sheet wasn't water proof at all , but it is; it was from the condensation created by the waterproof lining.I will be returning it.

I ordered this because it was the only one that I could get next day with Prime. We had some bad weather moving into the area, with high winds and a lot of rain, but no significant drop in temps. I needed a rain sheet to help keep him dry. After I ordered I read some reviews and saw some complaints about it not being waterproof. As a precaution I ordered a waterproofing spray for some extra protection. It seems to have worked! All the bad weather moved in, with the wind and rain for several days. When I brought him in from pasture each day to check him, he was completely dry under his sheet. Not a drop of rain got through.

This is a great fitting rug and absolutely waterproof. However, it is not breathable and my horse gets very sweaty wearing it, hence the rating. Will be good when it gets really cold and I can put a fleece liner underneath.

Mi caballo mide 1.56 a la cruz y de la punta del hombro a la punta de la nalga 1.60 y le quedó bien, solo se ve un poco larga. La tela y broches son de buena calidad, me gustó mucho y no se le mueve ni se la quita en la noche

This product is not waterproof. It’s about as waterproof as a Walmart backpack (same material). It’s fits my horse really well, and for the price I’ll treat it with a waterproofing spray.

Saw some reviews saying this sheet wasn’t completely waterproof so I waterproofed it before I even tried it out just in case. It’s held up so far and no water has come through. It fits as it should and the straps seem strong and durable. No rips after multiple uses, overall good product for the price!

Bought 3 of these. No rips or tears. Fits true to size. Great travelling sheets. Can also turn into a blanket by putting a Liner underneath .
