ApeksRK3 HD Fins

I love these....I never wanted to part with my Dacor vented fins from the 80s because they are (still are) extremely comfortable to me. But, I saw these HDs, tried them and loved how they feel and work... probably because the action feels very familiar to me. But, the construction, comfort, and strap mechanism are far superior to my old gear. I opted for the HDs for the higher density (less boyancy) but that's a personal choice only you can make. The non HDs are made just as well.

Was struggling to find these fins anywhere! Turns out Amazon was the place to go. I ordered XL in orange which is the ‘Super’ size in Apeks. I haven’t used the fins yet, but they are exactly as stated in the description. They feel super durable and are stiff/flexible enough for stroke efficiency. They are just that little bit heavier which is perfect for drysuit diving. They’ll be used 99% for commercial work - of all the commercial divers I know that use these fins, none have had anything bad to say about them! I wear a men’s US12 wetsuit/drysuit boot and found the fins to be a good fit. If you’re a size smaller, I feel like you’d be better off with the next size down.

I have both Large and Mediums. I have a size 11 and needed a large with 8mm boots or dry suit boots. I have the mediums as well when I’m in warmer climates using a standard 3/5 mm boot. Can’t go wrong with these fins if you like stiff blades.

I bought these fins to replace 10 year old scubapro fins I had. I love these. They are excellent, easy to propel yourself with whether flutter kicking or frog kicking. Great propulsion, very sturdy and durable. Would highly recommend these.The sizing is a bit off. According to the chart I was a super, when I got them in, my foot was swimming in them even with my booties on. Dropped to the large and it was just right. I wear a size 13 shoe (us).
