Smart, Smart Ass and Funny
If you are a fan of Greg Gutfeld's late night TV show Red Eye then you will love this book. Buy it, no questions asked, and you will laugh and you will think about what Gutfeld writes. You are the obvious people who will love this book.If you never watched Red Eye for some reason then you should read this book because you will learn something and you will laugh at Gutfeld's smart and smart ass remarks. This guy is a trip and a half, filling this book with funny observations, off the cuff statements and absolutely ridiculous comments that will make you say, "Now where did he come up with that one." It is easy to read, broken into chapters with each chapter consisting of stories that relate to the chapter's topic. The book is not only a collection of political commentary although Gutfeld does provide that, so you do not have to worry if you are not on the right side of every argument. It is funny and it is meant to be funny but it does make you think and it is intelligently written by a smart dude. Will you like this book if you are a conservative with a sense of humor? Absolutely. Will you like it if your political point of view lies right in the middle? Definitely. Will you like it if you are to the left but you have a sense of humor? Most likely, yes. Will you like it if you still think that Barack Obama can turn water into wine, can part the seas (as he thinks he can do) or if you get a tingle up your leg when he reads off of a teleprompter? Maybe not. In those cases, this book is definitely over your head and you should stick to the local elementary school's summer reading lists. In short, buy The Bible of Unspeakable Truths by Greg Gutfeld. I loved this book because it is smart, funny and really easy to get through in a very fast time. A great book for the beach. A great book for reading in traffic, in bed, in the bathroom, on your back porch or just about anywhere. And if you love Red Eye, this is almost like the book version of that great, late night TV show.

Typical Gutfeld
Humorous antidotes and musings that are so Gutfeld. He makes you laugh and lightens your day with that odd "Gut" humor.

Quick and Easy Read
I've seen Greg Gutfeld on The Five and Redeye and have always appreciated his humor and his ability to add a touch of humor to just about any topic. When I placed my order a few months ago it was to purchase this book and Not Cool. After reading this book I will make it a point to order the "Joy of Hate" at some point as well, I enjoyed the humor in this book that much !!I came away with 2 things (besides laughing a lot) and that was Greg is NOT a fan of Obama OR the Hollywood elitists. I am not registered in a political party so I was neutral on the politics, but when I started reading I found more than just politics in this book. There's plenty of good laughs on many topics ranging from Sex, Health and even Sports. I think he's at his best when he rips Hollywood stars ....... my favorite was about the words "A Cry For Help". His rant on Lindsey Lohan had me laughing pretty hard, plus I couldn't agree more about the song "A Cry For Help" that he refers to, it was just hilarious.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a good laugh, you don't need to be a Republican or a Democrat to enjoy this in my opinion. I really enjoyed this one a lot !! I look forward to reading "Not Cool" and eventually "The Joy Of Hate"

The Greg Gutfeld effect!
This is the first book of Greg Gutfeld, but it seems like I have been reading his work for my whole lifetime. That very well may be because Greg speaks my heartfelt beliefs! But in a MUCH more humorous way!!! You cannot read any section of this book without realizing two important facts; 1) This guy is spot on with everything he writes, & 2) This guy is one of the greatest humorists since Will Rogers!!! He is blanking hilarious!!!Greg is a co-host on The Five, a news & commentary show on the Fox News Channel every weekday at 5:00PM EST and Red Eye on the same network at 3:00AM EST. I live for Greg's monologue on The Five, (the chemistry of this group is perfect), though I don't stay up for Red Eye very often. Greg expresses his Conservative/Libertarian views perfectly with great humor and analogies, which is the same in this book.In conclusion, I cannot recommend this book enough, and would suggest that you would also thoroughly enjoy Greg's 2nd book, The Joy of Hate, which is in this same style, though a bit more refined work. The books only leave two questions unanswered...who is it that Greg knows that has the skill of propelling flaming ping-pong balls across the room, and may I meet her? ENJOY!!!

Thought provoking and humerous
Greg Gutfeld tackles everything from pop culture too politics with intelligence and humor. I have lost many hours of sleep watching Redeye due to Greg's take on the world, politics, and culture. However, Greg's writing is even better than his television show. The Bible of Unspeakable Truths will make you laugh and think, even if you do not agree with him. The bulk of his essays involve his unique take on the War on Terror and President Obama. Yet, you can also read his unique take on women, gender studies, stem cells, and stories on the homeless.Greg is a libertarian and most of the book reflect his views. For those of you who think he's just another Fox News Republican mouthpiece, you are wrong. Moreover, there are some crude parts to the book so it is definitely not meant for the younger crowd. However, if you can look past this part, you will see that Greg is a patriotic, intelligent, unique individual who should challenge Stewart and Colbert as late night king of political humor.
