Does cut metal, but dulls pretty fast
I had the original that came with the tool and is identical. I dulled pretty quickly after cutting through a stuck metal screws to the point where it just would not work. A bit expensive for wearing down that quickly.

Don't try to cut screws with this
Don't Try to Cut Screws with this. I know the description says thin metal. But a screw is relatively thin. I don't know how well this works with thin sheet metal, w which was probably what it was meant for. It came with my Bosch oscillating tool & says "metal" on it, not "sheet metal" on it. And maybe I pushed too hard when it didn't glide through the self-tapping screw I wanted to cut. I wanted to cut the hex head off of a #14 self-tapping screw with this, and leave the rest of the screw in the board. But it chewed off the blade teeth and did not go through the screw/screw head. Perhaps I was cutting somewhat against the hex head instead of the shaft.

One of these blades let me cut fifteen 8D nails ...
One of these blades let me cut fifteen 8D nails when removing some siding, then it was worn out. Almost all of the teeth were simply gone at that point. Bosch said their new blade OSC114C with carbide tips will last up to 30x longer, so I'll get that instead.

Nice Blade
Saw a test of oscillating multi-tool blades in Fine Homebuilding (maybe it was Fine Woodworking?) a while back and the Bosch blades came out on top. So, I bought several along with the adapter so I can use them on my Fein Multimaster. It can take a little fiddling to get all the indexing indents on the tool, the adapter, and the blade lined up. But, the blade does cut great and for a lot less than the Fein blades. I hit my first nails with it the other day and it seems mostly unaffected. I'll be buying more.

If you need an overpriced blade that lasts for about 30 seconds - get this one.
Originally gave this one star with the review below.Back up to 3 stars, since Bosch sent me a free replacement. However, the blades still seem to lack in capabilities.Original review:If you need an overpriced blade that lasts for about 30 seconds - get this one. Soft metals will destroy this in one pass. For what they charge for these things - this should cut a couple dozen metal pipes (like a cheapest hack-saw blade would) and only then maybe get dull. At least don't put "+ Metal" on these.

Good wood cutting blade
I use these blades because they cut fast and are somewhat easy to control ... however if you hit a nail or any metal, the blade is ruined ...works well in pressure tread wood also
