Hilon PVC Reinforced Hose 1/2" ID X 3/4" OD 25 FT

The hose in itself was good, but my problem was with the ID claiming it was 1/2"... My personal experience was this was the LOOSEST 1/2" ID I've ever experienced. I could slide it on and off a 1/2" barb with barely any friction. This was problematic for the use I intended it for because even with hose clamps it still would not seal properly to allow me to build any pressure although i was only going for 60psi. I ended up getting it to work for a short time with 2 hose clamps on each barb but even still it would leak if it was disturbed at all. In the end it was too much of a liability and I replaced it with another 1/2" ID, which sealed on the same barbs without any hose clamps.

Prices are good, but often I find things less expensive on other sites, but when I need something to get here, I use Amazon.

Fount this to be of good quality and it was what I had expected. It was the best price at the time per foot for shorter rolls of this kind of hose.

Good quality, fast shipping. ID as advertised, measured with a plug gauge. Reinforcing aids in burst strength, and seems to not kink like other similar hosed I've bought from other suppliers. Overall a good experience, and am buying another for a short, lightweight garden hose.

Good hose, I have used this for several projects. The first use was to fill a helium balloon using this hose connected to the cylinder regulator and a PVC pipe to fit in the neck of the balloon. Worked great.

Works great for our home brewing! Just brewed up a giant batch of pilsner using this hose for our pumps and it worked like a champ even at boiling temperatures.

ID is not a true 1/2 inch fit. After clamping it I can easily wiggle the hose off of the barbed fitting.
