Very comprehensive biology test book, explains extensive

This book was recommended by many of my lecturers in University, and I have to agree that it is a very good purchase. There is a huge amount of information included within the book (over 1300 pages worth to be exact) as well as many detailed and well illustrated diagrams throughout. It should be mentioned that due to the large amount of pages, the book is quite heavy (5 kilograms) and is can therefore be inconvenient to carry around in a bag. This book is relatively cheaper then others found elsewhere. The edges of the cover was also slightly crinkled due to it packaging during delivery. But that aside, overall, this book is a great purchase for any student studying biology at university level.

I used it for my undergraduate course of BSc in Biology. Very helpful and nice concise diagrams. Kindle version helps a lot with full text search option. And also kindle version has no additional weight in your bag.

This book has everything you need, full of good quality information and diagrams. The pages are thin but that's due to the volume of information. Make sure you get the latest Edition which is Black with a Purple Flower.

This is a great resource for students in first year for Biology degrees, it’s covered material for my first two modules.

Excess of information, super helpful for a level students, however it may be over excessive with too much information. If you do A Level biology, with expectations to go deeper into the field, then this would be really useful for you. Good Luck if you are studying biology!

Expensive but amazingly useful for any students studying Biological Sciences! Especially when limited physical/online copies are available in the library.
