Beware! It says this book comes with a CD ROM. It does not. Now I am behind on all my assignments.The purchase is entitled, "Sniffy the Virtual Rat Lite, Version 3.0 (with CD-ROM)"Why say CD-ROM without actually checking if there is a CD ROM in the item.Weird.

The book did NOT come with the cd. I paid for a rental that said “with CD Rom” in the details. Like everyone’s reviews state, you will not get the CD with this. Without the CD the book is completely useless. The entire book is just exercises to do on the computer.

Want my money back. The only reason I got this book was because of the cd that wasn’t included. I am a FULL TIME college student and am paying for my school books via student loans. This is a required book for my psyc class and to not get the one thing that I needed from it is just a scam. If I could give zero stars I would in a heartbeat. Do not waste your time and money with this product. Will be returning.

SERIOUSLY THIS PROGRAM IS SO OLD I'M ALMOST SURPRISED IT LETS YOU USE A MOUSE (no pun intended). Seriously needs an update, and a system that doesn't require step-by-step instructions for even the littlest action. The book is actually really good at getting you through the program, but the program itself is such a fail that the book looses its worth

Book did NOT come with CD as advertised.

Pointless book. Did not help me understand conditioning at all.

Came with a random CD containing files from a 90s video game, and some other useless garbage. The book is useless without the actual program. I needed this promptly for school and am extremely disappointed. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER. Very angry.

This is such bs, ordered this for my daughter and no CD, this is useless, waste of money

This was a required purchase for one of my psychology classes, due to the university moving away from real rats. And I have to say... Sniffy is NOT a good substitute. Real rats are blindingly intelligent and Sniffy was simply awful to deal with. I understand why the university wanted to follow the replacement principle of animal ethics but I think most of the class ended up just clicking the buttons we were told to in order to generate a graph, and when the parts came up where we were supposed to shape Sniffy’s behaviour, we all gave up and skipped those questions.It’s been literal years since I had to use this program but I can still clearly remember how awful Sniffy was. Now I’m working with real rats and the contrast is night and day. Hell, shaping mouse behaviour is easier.

The book was over a day late, and the title states that the book came with a CD ROM, but it actually didn't. needless to say I am not very happy, normally I have pretty good chances with amazon and its users, however this time it was garbage.

Great condition and CD.

I needed this book right away for class and it came so fast! A bit overpriced but I was desperate. Perfect quality too
