Zerg 12x1.5 Extended 7 Sided Lug Nuts with Cap and Key

I bought a Spline drive, open-end, extended lug set that spun the key on the first lug I tried to torque to spec($55.00). Knew then that I didn't want "Splined" any longer, found this "hex" set w/4 7-sided lugs plus key. I needed extended lugs because the depth of my lug well is almost 2" deep. The are great quality, they fit flush to the wheel, and they were a great price ($75.00)... bonus is that the splined set I returned for these was an open-end set, these have threaded "cap" inserts to keep out any contamination on the end of the studs. They can be used open- for long studs, or capped- for regular length studs. Allen head key that comes with the set for the caps works great, they work great and they look great.

I liked the 7 sided protection and the weight of each lug nut which is almost zero. Nice look and finish.Addition: These lug nuts will not work with rims that have a deep lug nut well. But they do great with my Advan RS wheels.

I recieved the Zerg 12x1.5 Extended 7 Sided Lug Nuts with Cap and Key - Black 20 pieces on 02/17/2014. I will need to say that for 75 dollars they are crap. I test fitted them on the rims and wheel spacers that are not even on the car yet and the paint was chipping off with no effort. The lug nut inserts are not fully painted like in the pictures (Except for one of them). The Hex key for the inserts did not come with the set even though it said it was included on the box. There is no way that I would put these on my show car...

I bought this set for my 2010 r3 rx8 and I must admit it looks wicked against the rims but for some reason or the other the kit did not include the hex key

These can be scratched easily when loosing / tightening
