cam hangs up a little on the lower strap attachment when disengaging, causing the rope to feed slowly but a small weight on the rope allows it to feed properly.

Very awkward but fine for the price.

The spring on the rope grab is a little stiffer then the petzl but works just the same. I like the wider bands on this product then on other systems I’ve owned. We use this to ascend trees for trimming. Would recommend and will buy more when needed!

Doesn't coe with the part that makes the rope not slip out obviously desined to have one, the spring is slightly to strong yoy have to be 20 or so feet up for the rope to slip through properly. Besides that it does worjk.

I ordered this product in April due to a leg injury oh, I did not want to use the same injured leg so I bought this product to use on my left leg. Now that we are practicing again for a upcoming trip going through the bank at 12 I realize that it is not for the right or left leg it is for the right leg only it even says so on this side of the foot ascender oh, so if you decide to buy this item make absolutely sure that it says left and right leg use because it will not work on your left leg. My window to return it closed in June.

This product is honestly trash. I should've spent the extra money on the CMI foot ascender. I honestly want my money back for this trash. The strap system does not lock in place and it slips as soon as you apply pressure to it with your foot.

I was concerned about people who said the spring was too tight but I have not had this issue with mine. Note to manufacturer. The bottom strap could use a strap slide. That will cost you pennies. I added one I had already but without that the bottom strap kept pulling out. If the strap issue was fixed I would have given this product a 5 star review.

Wanted to save some money and since this device is not a life securing device I taught I'll try it but the spring is too tight and you need to pull the rope down until a lot of rope weight make it slip by itself, most of the time already got up there unless some free rope was coiled and not touching the ground.

I was first worried because the cam sometimes rubs against the foot strap, which could cause it to partially jam open. It turns out it doesn't matter, because the foot strap just comes loose, so your foot slides out the bottom. Garbage.
