Get coyotes gone!
I was told by an expert to get this to deter coyotes. It is loud, makes a pretty awful noise, but coyotes do not like the sound. Of course neither do dogs!

It's big - not ideal for women's already small pockets.
Bigger than expected. Doesn't really fit in jeans or shorts pockets at all. And it really only kind of works. I tested it at home and my dog just looked at me funny.Yesterday an older St Bernard charged into the road and chased us, and I used it. He slowed down and stopped giving me time to move further away but I don't think it's that good.

this product has a very limited battery life before it fails.
I have previously run manufacturing for a major Multinational consumer goods companyand know quite a bit about product integrity and reliability. We have been using the product to haze coyotes on our property.I have had 2 of these products now and both have consistently failed after 6 months. After 6 months the battery would no longer charge and the product stopped emitting sound.

Large and Loud. Rechargeable
I live in an urban area and walk my dogs at night. Having this personal security alarm hanging on my leash gives me comfort and a better sense of security. The sound this alarm produces is a loud, electrical crackling sound. Both dogs and cats jumped when I tested the device. I did too because I wasn't expecting that kind of sound. So, for someone that doesn't know a sound is coming, I'd lay odds that this device's sound will make someone jump and throw them off their objective. The alarm is a little larger than the palm of my hand and is weighty. I've chosen to loop it on my dog leash handle so it is readily available if I need it. I may explore adding a carabiner so I can hook it to clothing or a belt too. The alarm is rechargeable and you must turn it on before using the "engage" button.

VERY Loud
> Re-chargeable. it charges with a USB cable. There is an on/off switch you have to manually switch to the ON position (it isnt easy to accidentally do it) and then you hit a button when it's in the on position. You can turn it off by switching to the OFF position. I like this - it's way better than a pin to pull, or a system that doesnt have a safety, where you could accidentally press it.> There are lots of warnings that come with it. Dont use within 10 feet of anyone (obviously this is during testing), you would aim the bell at the attacker. It warns not to touch different areas of the device or you could get shocked. It isnt easy to touch the areas accidentally - so you dont have to worry about that.> Large size - larger than standard "personal alarms" you would carry on a keychain. This is designed to be carried in a purse or pack.> VERY loud. I tested it outside, with ear plugs and I would say to test it with ear plugs if you can. Very effective.> Does look intimidating. It is black and large, my partner asked if it was a stun gun because it doesn't look like it is only an alarm.OVERALL - if you want a great LOUD personal alarm, this one is very high quality. I would totally recommend it as a powerful personal alarm for any women to carry.

THIS IS AWESOME!!!
It looks and sounds like a taser, stun gun but it is not. Good quality made and it is loud! It's rechargeable which is a bonus, and the light part flashes on when you activate it which makes it more scary looking or intimidating, especially at night.Def scares off some bipedal urban wild life wildebeasts who are in your face or following you.Other than that I carry a metal club. _________________________________________________________________________________________Update :: Such a cool product I ordered 2 more of these as gifts!! One for my elderly neighbor and one for my 19 yr old niece. With assaults, robberies, carjackings, weirdo sex predators, drug legalizations, General INSANITY CULTURE on the rise, these pocket size pseudo zappers are a cheap affordable yet quality device to carry for an added piece of mind.,Security guards love these babies Too!_ A Must Have! _Federal ban on actual firearms sales now, the police will not protect you, so you're on your own.

The Get gone personal security alarm works
Sorry I’ve no idea what you mean by stretch . The alarm is easy to use, if a bit bulky. It is very effective on deterring unattended dogs and that was the reason for purchase. So it is great value for money.

It has saved my life.
I spend a lot of time on in-line roller skates on shared paved trails. I use this to warn people that I'm coming up behind them, particularly if they are walking a dog on a leash. Warning -its VERY loud, so I tend to activate it about 50 yards/metres away from people. It has also helped me avoid collisions with a deer, a dog and a SKUNK. Animals run for cover when they hear this thing. Also, don't activate it indoors.. don't activate it around kids and don't let children play with it. It is seriously loud and will damage hearing if misused. I only use it for in-line skating, but I also wonder if it might not be a good deterrent for wild life (bears) if you take hikes in that kind of territory. I suspect it would be effective.
