iLover Women's Classy Vintage Audrey Hepburn Style 1940's Rockabilly Evening Dress

I love this dress! It is a beautiful color and is a much heavier cloth than I figured it would be. Might be a bit warm for the middle of summer....but luckily I am a little cold blooded and it was perfect for me. The only issue I had is that it is a little snug in the shoulders when putting it on and taking it off. There is absolutely no give to the fabric. Also, the belt is a little long and I had to pin it up to keep it in place. I like to take my 1930 Model A out to shows every now and then and this is a perfect color match for the truck. Wonderful!

The dress has a very flattering cut and fit, leaving a little room to hide a little extra weight if you need it. The sweetheart neck is adorable, and not too low. I'm 5 ft 6, 135 lbs, and I ordered a large (sized up like the reviews said). Haven't washed it yet, but should shrink a bit. The material is stretchy, so it shouldn't be a problem. The material seems pretty decent quality, and should be durable. I love the bright red color and the cute bow! It was very wrinkly out of the package, but washing it will fix that. The length goes to about 4-5 inches below my knees. I'm planning on trimming it to my knees and adding sleeves. Beautiful dress! Will look amazing with a poofy slip underneath. Would definitely recommend.

This is a nice, mostly cotton dress, with just a slight stretchiness in the bodice. It has lovely satin-like lining only in the bodice. The skirt is not lined. The material does not allow ironing, so steam is recommended. Sizing is very small. I read the sizing chart and ordered a 3x because I normally wear a 20W in U.S. sizes. It has a lovely color, but lots of loose threads around the zipper. Unfortunately, I must return it.

I bought an XXL going off the size chart and it is actually a tiny bit big. This isn't an issue, since belting will help, but with measurements of 37-32-41, and the size chart saying 37-31.5, it does have at least a roomy inch in the waist. For long-waisted ladies, it also hits high. This will have to be worn belted with a wider belt than the one provided, as it rides nearly two inches above my natural waist. The belt has no holes and prong either, so it won't really stay cinched. Velcro or snaps will have to be added to make it a practical belt. The dress is made very well, though, and is a heavy cotton fabric. It arrived very wrinkled, as others have noted, but it will iron out nicely, I think. A lovely dress and fun. Color is true to the photo in the sale and style is the same. I will probably stitch the placket in front closed as it gaps a little, but the dress is fastened by a zipper in back, so the front placket doesn't need to be open.

I like it. The grey is has a little more brown than the picture. The belt, I think because of the black backing, is a little darker than the dress, but I'll be using a ribbon. I usually wear a Med but got a large. I'm glad I did. The chest area is a little large ( I'm a 36A cup) but if I got the Med it would be too small. The dress will be easy to tailor but if you leave it it will look fine. I'm 5ft 5in and it hit below the knee. The dress is 36 in measuring from the base of the neck. It looks nice and causal without a petticoat but would look great with it! WARNING: this dress ships from CHINA! I live in Indiana and it took 11 days (although 5 less days than the expected arrival date). Don't order if you need it soon!

I was surprised how awesome this dress was for the price. It was very striking and I got lots of compliments. I initially ordered a 3X per the sizing chart that the seller included (I am 34" waist, 42" hip, 36B bra size, normally wear a US size 12-14) and it was way, way too big. I returned it and ordered an XL and it fit perfectly. I sewed up the red top where the buttons are because the gape was very large and wavy, unless you have a bigger bust than me to fill it out you will probably have to do the same. It did feel like there was more room up top to fit bigger cup size. To get that poofy bell shaped skirt I am wearing not one, but two petticoats (I cut the lining out of the top petticoat to allow it to poof out more.) Here is the one I ordered: Vintage Women's 50s Rockabilly Tutu Skirt Petticoat Black(L) The material is a heavier type broadcloth, a cheaper material but heavy enough and not bad for the price. The belt is fairly flimsy, and I had to safety pin the tail of it so it wouldn't flop around strangely. Other than that, it was a great buy!

This dress is a great quality for the price! The shipping was as expected based on your shipping notifications( on time) . the material does have some stretch to it! Im not skinny mini by any means! I have a 38 G bra size! and wear a size 14 anf generally an XL in dresses, I did not have an issue in the waist area with XXL however my boobs were another story!!!!! It definitely took me , my BFF and my mama to get this zipped up the back! I agree to size up if you have boobs! I carry my weight pretty evenly, I do not have a falt stomach (haha i wish!) but I also dont have a huge stomach where there work thinks I have been pregnant for 10 years. I will attach a photo after Sat when i have to get squeezed in for high tea! The skirt is great and the bow is darling!!!!! The red is much brighter in person, for all my MAC ladies its more of a Ruby Woo red. I will post an update once make it through the event! There shall be a post review!

I absolutely love this dress! I ended up ordering an XXXL as I am top heavy and usually wear a dress size 12-14. It fits perfectly, but does come a bit wrinkled due to shipping. A light wash and some ironing does the trick to remove them though. Fabric is stretchy so their is a little extra room, but not too much. It is also a soft fabric that is not too heavy but not airy light so its good quality. Its great for all seasons and very flattering. I am 5' 5" and the dress ended an inch below the knee. Better to wear with a Petticoat for that extra party look. I will definitely be buying in different colors!
