KitchenAid W10279262 Replacement Coupling Parts

It took my husband a few days, maybe a week to figure out how to take the old one off of our blender which was a KitchenAid diamond. I think that's what it's called. Once he got it off the old one he was able to put this one on and I didn't have to throw away my KitchenAid blender which is my favorite and the tool that was recommended to go with it. I bought separately. Did not work so that's why it took my husband a week to try and figure out how to get it off. We finally got the gator tool from Home Depot with some adjustments. It works fine 👍

I should have bought this years ago. Have had issues with the jar sitting well in the base for years. Within 5 minutes of changing out the part I have no issues. Way better option then buying a new jar!
