Very nice goggles....I have recommended these to my friends and students
I've tried several different models/brands (at least six different ones so far) and this one is the best by far. The adjustable focal length is a major advantage over all the others...especially since some of the other goggles are rendered useless simply because they are so far out of focus with no way to adjust them. I actually would have given this particular brand a five star rating, but the one flaw in the design (for my phone) is that the phone retention clips are situated such that one of them depresses my volume button and interferes with that function. I could not figure out what was going on for the longest time, but I finally resolved the issue by inserting my phone into the magazine in an upside down position....which is a nuisance because some cardboard apps don't automatically invert the picture.

Just Okay
Purchased this for my son. It is nice quality and does allow for the VR experience. Only downside is that it does not allow much user interaction, which is ideally what was desired. Have tried tons of apps, even purchased several. But in order to do interaction you need to remove phone from the holder, do your interaction and slide it back in. Description needs to be edited to show this is a VIEWER not a player. So that others due not make the same mistake I did.

The newer VR box is better, however be warned that some google cardboard apps ...
This is the old version of the VR-box cardboard goggles. It has a relatively narrow field of view, and it lacks both a side (capacitive touch) button, AND a bluetooth controller (although the controller can be purchased separately). This means there is no way to control or interact with the phone while it's in the viewer. The newer VR box is better, however be warned that some google cardboard apps (and iPhones) may work better with a viewer that has a button (such as the Mattel viewmaster. You can buy a separate bluetooth controller and have the best of both worlds). On the positive side, it is very comfortable to wear (excluding the effects of dizziness and nausea which are not the fault of the viewer).

Pretty good headset
Pretty good headset, like that you can place the rubber grips where you need to according to your phone, but also its downfall, can't share it with someone who has a different phone model as you, as it may just continually press down their buttons rendering it useless

Buyer beware: no magnetic trigger.
The good: The device is well built and comfortable. The eye adjustments work well, allowing for changing both focal distance and pupil width. It would be all but perfect except for...The bad: There is no magnetic trigger. Having to remove the device to advance or make a selection in apps that use the trigger is a woeful oversight. Taken alone, this is enough to knock an otherwise good implementation down to three stars. That the listing doesn't say it is sans trigger pushed me to a two-star rating.

Love the build quality, hate that there is no buttons when trying to interact with the applications

Three Stars
Fantastic item, aside from the magnetic trigger. Having this missing creates a huge inconvenience.

A solid and cheap VR experience.
Although it doesn't have a magnet trigger... You can pull the phone out and tap the screen real quick or connect another phone or tablet for control. It's very confortable to wear and easy to adjust the lenses to the correct format.
