Despite the clear label that says don’t leave box in a mailbox, that’s where the box was delivered. Luckily I was home, so it was there only a few minutes. Delivery gets a big fat ZERO.However, the incredible quality of the ladybugs from Clarke’s Organics more than made up for the delivery. There were maybe 15 bugs that were not alive when they arrived. I was shocked—in a very good way. The bugs were incredibly active. I released them by a brush pile I’d soaked, since we’re in the midst of a drought and they had been traveling. The next morning, I found a few still around it. Hopefully they’ll take down the number of woolly aphids floating everywhere, and continue to live here happily.

Read instructions. I distributed them among my flowers during the day, and I don't think they stayed in their houses that night. I am afraid they all left. You have to distribute them at the bottom of your plants at night.I had to put the box in the fridge for 24 hours. Took it out to distribute them the next day, and it appeared to be a bag of ladybug bodies. I put them in the sun for 10 minutes and there was not one dead bug. All were alive. I am so pleased!! Highly recommend...who wouldn't!

The first package arrived late, during a hot spell. Unfortunately, most of the ladies did not survive. However, after contacting the seller, they corrected the issue and the second package arrived (in much nicer temps) with all the ladies healthy.I released them around my various garden areas as noted. Weeks later, I'm still seeing the benefits and ladies all around. My ever bearing strawberry plants were devastated from aphids. Now, the berries are huge and no aphids around anywhere.

My order of live lady bugs arrived as expected and after releasing them into a tree being ravaged by mites, they are busy at work. I'm so pleased to be able to use nature's beneficials to solve a problem that avoids using pesticides and makes the garden safe for bees, butterflies and other helpful insects. The order was done on line and included shipping tracking info that allowed me to stay alert for the receipt of my ladybugs!

I ordered this product as a natural way to control a strong aphid infestation in our yard. The ladybugs arrived promptly and were in good condition. When I released them in the yard they all came out of the bag as expected. During that process I got concerned that there weren't as many ladybugs in the bag as I had ordered so I wrote to the seller (with a picture) to ask about this. They didn't respond when I wrote directly but did when I went via Amazon and then promptly sent me an additional bag of ladybugs at no charge, which I also released, and with that release it did seem as though there were more ladybugs present. The bag looked a lot more full initially (straw to ladybug density ratio....) and then when they came out there were more of them than before. So, in the end I was a happy customer and I appreciate the prompt customer service. I can see larvae in particular eating away at the aphids, and the level of aphid mess has gone down relative to what it was like before we got the ladybugs, so they are working.The instructions that came with the ladybugs weren't entirely consistent between the two different leaflets that came with the bugs and I only realized after release that dusk would have been better than dawn (less likely to fly away), so that was what I did for the replacement bugs and that may have helped too.

There were a lot of lady bugs. The sad part was though is that half of them were dead in the bottom of the bag when they arrived. Rip poor ladybugs 😔

I’ve purchased these guys twice now, once this year and last. I hate writing reviews and never do.. but it is amazing the difference ladybugs make in the garden. I have to purchase them every year due to having pests that eat them. Some still survived over winter and saw them in early spring. I am beyond happy with their help to make a sustainable garden. If your like me and live surrounded by woods, then you know the constant struggle of unwanted pests every year. The price is great and very fast shipping! I purchase them typically in summer so 95% of them are still alive! I put them out late in the evening and they are immediately hungry 🤣
