Just what my wife wanted to match the other shelves for her Barbie collection.

This item does exactly what I needed it to do. I was looking for the appearance of a floating shelf, without the chunky look that many floating shelves have. It helps that my walls are white, which allows the bracket to blend in; it would be more difficult to give a floating appearance if your walls are a different color. The bracket itself is 42 inches, allowing for a 48 inch shelf. I have installed it underneath a 36 inch shelf as well (pictured). The product loses one star because the package was open and one end cap and the screws were missing. The end cap is not essential, but does allow for a tighter fit between the shelf and bracket.
