Brought headset back to life
My wife was using these with a work laptop which was retired and she sent it away with the laptop. Now I can use he hardest with my laptop via BT or via dongle. Kind of hard to find these. Don't confuse these with any connect dongle. They don't work with this headset

Will not pair with Logitech H800 headset
I lost the original Nano receiver for my Logitech H800 headset. I saw this product on Amazon and read the reviews - many of them one or two stars. The reason given for these was generally "won't pair with the H800." In reading the reviews that were 4-5 stars, they explained you just needed to download the pairing utility from Logitech. Against my better judgement, I ordered the product, received it, and then downloaded the pairing utility from Logitech. No matter what I did . . . my headset wouldn't pair to the new Nano receiver. I spent an hour on it personally . . . and then spent another hour on the phone with Logitech customer service. And though they tried their best, we just couldn't ever get it to pair to my H800 (which pairs like a champ with my Bluetooth devices). Save your money . . . and don't buy this. If anything, by a Bluetooth receiver for your computer and then pair your H800 to that. Disappointed.

Got it to work, finally.
Like many people, I had trouble with getting the pairing utility for the Mac from the Logitech site. As you might know, when you get to the page for downloading the utility, you have to select your OS from a dropdown. When you select Mac OS X, you are redirected to the original support page. If you are gullible like me, you try this a few more times.Fortunately, after three days of surfing for a solution, I found a link that worked for me. Maybe it will work for you.[...]A few notes on getting my headset to pair. The first two times I held down the "Next" button with the "Up Volume" button, it didn't work. Then I decided to just hold it for a "long" time. I had to hold them long enough that I had the opportunity to think "this isn't working" twice, before it finally started flashing fast.I wonder if this is a factor in some people in concluding that the pairing utility doesn’t work. Maybe they don't hold the buttons long enough (or maybe it just doesn't work for some people). The green light does flash before the pairing mode kicks in, but more slowly. Maybe some people are confusing this with pairing mode.Same thing with the pairing utility. It took a "long" time. I might have made it take longer because at one point, after wondering if it was working, I removed the receiver and put it back in. Then it eventually worked. Maybe I had to start the utility before plugging in the receiver, or maybe what I did made no difference. Something to try if it doesn't work for you.Why do they call this device a "receiver"? Isn't it the one transmitting to the headphones? Shouldn't it be a "transmitter". Oh well, it works for me now.Oh! And make sure to go to your sound preferences and be certain your headset is selected.

Works as expected
I bought this after I lost my original H800 wireless headset receiver. It works exactly as expected. Windows XP detected the USB device just fine, pairing it with the headset was easy enough, and it's got the same wireless range. My gripe with these Logitech receivers is that they are too small. They're very easy to misplace (as evidenced by the fact that I had to get a replacement).Logitech's website is somewhat confusing and I had trouble navigating it to download the "pairing utility". I mistakenly downloaded another utility ("media track control," completely unrelated to pairing) and couldn't figure out what I needed to do. From what I could see on their support forums, I wasn't the only one... That said, the pairing utility was a breeze to use once I did manage to find it.
