Belfry Men/Women Summer Straw Pork Pie Trilby Fedora Hat in Blue, Tan, Black

After an extensive search for a pork pie hat that would fit my 24.25" head, I finally found this beauty! It took a lot of searching, but it was well worth the effort! This hat looks sharp, is well made, and...FITS!! It arrived in a box, and inside that box it was packaged securely - no damage whatsoever. I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and am looking forward to an event that calls for wearing a hat - this hat, to be exact!

Yes, my hat arrived squashed. Yes, I was disappointed. But, it took all of 3 minutes to COMPLETELY restore this GORGEOUS hat to like new condition. A little steam from an iron to soften the straw, a little shaping with the fingers and VOILA! I couldn't believe how EASY it was to make this hat look like new again. Overall, it was a GREAT buy. It does run a little large. I wear a 7 1/4-7 3/8 and I needed a medium. And, even then, it is a smidge loose. Great quality and a sexy head piece. I'll DEFINITELY buy again.

I like the style of the hat and the color combination. What I disliked is the sizing is off. I ordered a large based on the sizing and it’s definitely too big. There is enough space that I can fit my thumb inside. The hat did not ship secure but it did not come crushed. The other downside is that the shaping is off and will need some steaming to correct. For the price, I guess the work needed to correct the hat will make it a keeper if the size were right but for me I will have to return.

I have a large melon and I ordered the 7 5/8 and it fit perfectly. The packaging sucks but hot water and steam and you can shape it anyway you want it. This is my horse track hat, it’s lucky and it makes me look like an Italian contractor.

Hat is too small even for a XXL (even though the reviews say its cut big). It arrived crushed in a box that was too small and Amazon will not allow me to even mention the packaging like this isnt something to be concerned with. It is, additionally I think it feels cheaply made. Dont buy this or any other hat until these issues are dealt with and judging from the reviews that has not happened yet.....

The did not fit, material was ok. The real issue was that they hat was place in a plastic bag and was crushed during transit. Nothing I tried helped the hat return its shape. If you're looking for a hat for the kids to knock around the beach, this may work.

I purchased the Belfry Jazz felt and loved it so much that I bought a nice straw version for the warmer seasons. I got the 'MaxxIvory' version, because it was a lighter hue, more like a Panama, and boy, am I pleased. Great quality and marvelous construction. Wears like a dream - for a 7 3/8 the Large is a perfect fit. Beautiful, crisp ivory - just right for the summer. Hats in the Belfry is major, and affordable. This, and my felt Jazz pork pie are my everyday go-to hats right off the bat. This came in a large Amazon box, with plenty of room and wasn't squashed in the slightest. Perfect packaging and another perfect hat. If you're looking for a sharp Panama pork pie, or a straw pork pie in general, Belfry is as quality as they come. No need to look elsewhere. Huge recommendation. Just beautiful. A+

I bought this as a sun hat for an outdoor music festival. It worked perfectly to keep the sun off my bald head! The sweat band and ribbon did an outstanding job of keeping the hat free from sweat marks. The crown inside is also lined and that keeps sweat away from the straw.It doesn't breath as well as summer other straw hats that are more loosely woven. But it does exactly what I want: look fantastic and keep the sun off.

I just received my hat and it ROCKS! Only thing as past reviews have said is they need to ship these better so that they are not stuffed into the bag and box making the hats awesome shape distorted at all. Mine is minor. I am sure once I start wearing it will be just fine. Super happy with the hat and the quality. I am expecting to get quite a few comments as I start to wear it out.

LIKES: Colour, Material and sizing were all perfectDISLIKES: Hat was completely "bent in" on one side which has now caused the hat to be warped. I am assuming it will work itself out in time but I hope that the people who package the items would take greater care to ensure the product isn't shipped in that manner.
