Dynamix Polarized Replacement Lenses for Oakley Fuel Cell OO9096 - Multiple Options

Not as clear as I would like, the upper edge has bad distortion and there are a few spots throughout the lens that have less clarityupdate 07/05/17: after leaving a three star review due to the lenses not quite meeting my expectations I was surprised to see a package on my door with a replacement set, completely unprompted, bravo Dynamix, the new set is much better than the last set and has zero edge distortion/flat spots that I was experiencing on my first set, the first must have been a fluke manufacturing issue and I felt compelled to come back and update my rating simply because your customer service is absolutely fantastic! will most certainly buy from a company that stands behind their products as much as you, I'll be ordering for my next set soon!

Just replaced old with the new and one seems to fit just fine, no complaints. The other lense though is a little to small. I tried readjusting it from left to right thinking that might work. Did a little, but still see that there is a gap at the top left of frame right at the nose piece.Bought these lenses again and I am having the same issue as the last time but instead of one lense, ita both them this time.***** This Is an update from previous review. As you have read, I had one lense that was a tad small. Not a huge problem or even a deal breaker. They still worked and look fine, this the 3 star review. But on with it, I opened the front door this morning and I had a package in the mail. Figured it was my wife's. Nope, it was for me. Was a little confused because the next order of stuff wont be here til Friday. Opened it up and it was a letter from Alan the owner of Dynamix saying that he was sorry about the lense and sent me a different set, and bam they fix perfect just like he had said on his letter. Not only the new lenses, but another set of blue lenses as well. All this to say Dynamix really stepped up to the plate to make things even righter than I though they were.

I picked these up for my Oakley Fuel Cell glasses. My glasses are actually brand new, but I wanted to customize the look of the glasses. I replaced the Oakley icon with American Flag icons, and picked up these Titanium mirrored polarized advanced lenses.First impressions-These lenses are lighter weight than the oakley lenses. Each lens weights 3.1 grams, the Oakley lenses weigh 4.4 grams each.The lenses are thinner than Oakley lenses. They are .042 inches thick, the Oakleys are .064 inches thick. The lenses snap into the frame well but are much easier to pop in and out, I'm afraid that if they do get dropped the lenses will pop out.I wore the glasses with each sets of lenses outside in a bright environment. I noticed eye strain with the Dynamix lenses that was not present with the Oakley lenses. I was unable to test the effectiveness of the polarization.Unfortunately I discarded the packaging that these lenses came with, otherwise they'd be going back. I plan on buying a used set of Oakley glasses without lenses on an auction site. I may end up glueing these lenses into it and giving my 10 year old them. I don't want to be spending the $100 that Oakley gets for the "real" OEM Oakley lenses, so I will continue my quest to find lenses that will fit my needs (and my glasses properly). For those wondering about the 2 stars, the main reason I gave it a second star is the look of the lenses, they do look good in the glasses, and may work for others, they just are not for me.

I have a pair of the blue-line Oakley Fuel Cells, and Oakley's factory lenses are notoriously easy to scratch. So I figured rather than spending $80+ on Oakley lenses that I knew would scratch a week after I bought them, I'd give an aftermarket company a shot.So the good: No visual distortion for me. The mirror effect is solid and consistent, with no warping or discolorations in it.The bad: The tint is more brown than grey. Oakley factory tint was just plain grey. The lenses are very slightly thinner than the Oakley factory lenses. If you grab onto them, you can physically rattle them a tiny bit inside the frame. This isn't noticeable while wearing them, however.I've dropped my Oakleys several times since I installed these lenses, and thus far they have not been scratched, nor has the mirror finish on them been otherwise harmed.Overall I would say this: You get what you pay for. I'm actually pretty happy with them, and aside from the minor gripes listed above, I think they're a solid product for the price. They could however, be better.

So I wear Oakley Fuel Cells for work glasses and over last 18 mos my current pair accumulated some scratches that were in line of sight as I was about to order some from Oakley for a much higher price I found these, hesitant to try a aftermarket lenses I decided why not, tons of great reviews. Upon receiving them I had to leave a review. Honestly I like the clarity better than ny oakley frames, at 1st wasnt sure they would fit as they're a little more tricky to snap in than originals but once I snapped them in place they're actually a more secure fit than the original oakley lenses which is a plus, the clarity and overall product imo opinion is better than factory originals. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to replace their originals or even upgrade their lenses at a unbelievably low price. Love me plan to buy some other color ones to switch out.

I ordered this product and the similar Icon lenses for 2 sets of Oakleys. Both are extremely good. This set was cheaper, probably a little better, and came super fast. They may be a little bit tougher to clean for some reason. I think there is a touch of distortion in the Icon lenses around the edges. No noticeable distortion in this set. They install easy, and fit very well. And I could buy 4 sets for the price of replacement oakley polarized lenses. On the subject of polarization, they definitely are and its legitimately decent. I don't have anyway to quantify if its as good as the stock lenses but I thinks its comparable. Used for a couple fishing trips and i'm not complaining. I think you can buy with confidence.
