Ariat Men's Spot Hog Wide Square Toe Western Boot

Shoes were definitely bigger than sized. I wear a 10, ordered a 9 1/2 and fit like 10 1/2. The souls were cut on both shoes when I received them. Some of the stitching was also coming apart. I never got a response back on replacing the shoes. They also slip extremely easily in water/snow.They look good. Feel good. But I won't buy another pair with how these were delivered and appeared.

Overall very happy with them. Can wear them casual dress or off road.

I ordered a 9.5 it felt right maybe a little roomy. (I have another pair, of this exact boot, that is 9.5 and fit is perfect.) Ariats always seem to run big for me, as most of my other shoes/boots are size 10.So I ordered another pair in size 9 thinking they should be less roomy than the 9.5....well as you can see from the picture the size 9 Spot Hogs (wearing) I just got, right next to the size 9.5 next to them are about 1" bigger. So something is off with sizing/quality control. Other than the sizing question thus a great edc boot. Good Luck!

These boots are AWESOME!I am super picky about my boots since i've been in the construction industry for 20 years, and your feet are the most important to keep you going all day. The leather needs no break-in since its so soft already.They look really good to wear as a casual boot or work on the site. It's really nice these Moc Toe boots don't have the huge white sole like most of them do, the sole on these give great padding and the insole is awesome suppport. I would compare them to vibram soles or better. I am a EE or wide and these fit perfectly. They are true to size so if your a 10 in boots, then get the size 10.As for the color, they are a little darker than the picture appears. They are more brown than orange looking. I might even buy a second pair just to have for later when i wear these out.

I truly appreciate the fact these shoes are true leather. I don’t think I had such a comfortable all leather boot since I bought a similar pair burnt darker from Cole Hann in the 90s. A lot of shoes today are not true grain leather. Only issue I have is the laces wear easily which for myself in construction, I use these every day, the place where the not lands has worn significantly in two months. Very happy with this purchase. The boots fit me well, seem very well made and are very comfortable. I usually add extra inserts for additional comfort with most shoe/boot purchases, but with these Ariat boots I don't need them. The break in was very short, and they only seem to be getting better every time I wear them. I'm not using them as a heavy use work or hiking boot, so I can't comment on how well they'd hold up there. I wear them a couple times a week to work, as a teacher, where I'm on my feet most of the day. They look great, and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I can't ask for more than that. They seem high quality, but time will tell.

I bought these looking for a replacement to my Blundstones due to Ariat's fantastic reputation for making great cowboy/work boots. I was not disappointed buying these as my new daily wear boots.These boots are superior to Blundstones in my opinion due to:- Taller/thricker sole to keep the leather out of mud/rain.- More aggressive tread.- Superior stock insole... this boot is deceptively comfy.- Leather is easy to polish and soaks up mink oil, effectively waterproofing them.If you're on the fence about buying these, don't hesitate. These were exactly what I was looking for. Very comfortable, wear well and look amazing. You won't regret these boots for sure.

Good quality leather, however it still could be a better quality lining for the money and it is made in China, so there is room to improve on quality.

Had been looking for these for some time. Finally found them in my size. These seem to be a difficult set of boots to find for a reasonable price. These are awesome boots though, wear them almost every day. The boots I received were great quality and I wear them most days and have had zero issues so far. Yee-Haw.
