I got this because I have dreadlocks to my bottom, and was tired of having my shirts and skin soaking wet for like a whole day while my hair dries and the ends just drip for hours — AND THIS is amazing. It arrived like a week early, and I haven’t taken it off since I opened it.Buy it. You won’t regret it.I don’t surf. I don’t plan on ever surfing. But I plan on going to the beach/ocean and going camping and wanting to throw on a blanket towel over my clothes.Imagine this thing with black sweats and a hoodie underneath. Who knew you could look HIP as heck in a towel poncho?!10/10.Also, not too warm to not get it for 75+ degree days!

This is a pretty awesome product! Nice and thick, and extremely comfortable. I’m 6’2, 250lbs, and it goes down just passed my knees. Plenty of space inside too!

Good color, nice towel, and wow I'm really glad I bought this. Very comfy, quiet branding, and generally pleasant to wear.As most helpful review states, hood is a bit short, so can't get face lost in it's depths, also, worried about phone in pockets - the hoodie pocket has a very straight bottom so it feels like it'd be easy to slide out, the zipper pocket is a bit short. So I probably won't wear this about town.

This is a soft, durable, heavy, high quality towel in the shape of a poncho. It's fulfilled my hot tub, pool, and surf towel needs. Actually, I don't use a regular towel for those activities anymore. Sometimes I wear it as a comfy lounge hoodie around the house.There's one design flaw I'll note. The hood isn't tall enough. I'm 6'2", 190lbs, and almost every other sweatshirt hood I've owned fit my slightly-taller-than-average build. Although this hood's overall coverage and general size is quite large, it's crafted closer to the shoulders than any hoodie I've ever owned. Meaning, it's short. It doesn't have enough fabric to reach from the bottom of my neck to the top of my head. This is surprising considering how large the actual shape of the hood is.Subsequently, when I wear this hood it lifts the entire weight of the hefty garment off my shoulders and places it on my head. Not only is this cumbersome and awkward, but it changes the shape of the poncho on my body by 'tenting' the area between my shoulders and the top of my hood (you can see this happening to the guy in the second picture provided by the manufacturer). This invites any breeze right in through the sleeves and collar. This also makes it impossible to wear the hood while seated thanks to the opposing forces caused by the poncho getting trapped under my bum while simultaneously pulling down on the crown of my head.Is this a subjective matter? Maybe... Maybe not. I'm removing a star because although this is a seemingly subjective criticism - every other hoodie I currently own doesn't have this problem, which makes the concern more objective in comparison.This hood isn't universal like most others. I wish it was. I love hoodies. I really like the towel minus this unfortunate design detail. I find myself wearing it less often than I would if it had a hood that fit.

Was so excited to receive this and take it out now that it's gotten pretty cold around dawn patrol surfing. I'm mostly happy with it; it's nicer than a cheap-o hooded towel in terms of overall quality. However, a couple of problems limit my ability to really recommend it at the (high) price:1. after the first wash, the hood immediately developed a large separation between the liner and the exterior with a ton of loose thread. I washed it according to the instructions so this is either a one-off quality issue or it's just not that high quality to begin with. Simple enough to repair with a needle and thread, but not what I'd expect from a "premium" item.2. The comments from other reviewers about the hood are true--it's small. Or, guess...short. I'm 5'8 barefoot and when i put the hood up i can feel the entire weight of the poncho pulling down on my head. The hood is small enough that you can't just casually flip it up and let it sit there; it lifts the whole poncho off even my shoulders. It's a bummer because the lining on the hoodie is really comfortable and it feels like something you'd WANT to wear, but it makes it so it's really only comfortable to have up briefly while changing.If this poncho was like twenty bucks cheaper I think I'd see it in a much more favorable light given the flaws. Unfortunately the current price does not match the offered quality.

If you're not into exhibitionism, this is for you! I used to have moon the entire parking lot each time I wanted out of my wetsuit, but now I don't. It's a win win for everyone really. I also don't lose my phone and keys in my trunk all the time now thanks to the nifty pockets. Super cozy and super well made!

This changing towel is one of the best quality we've had. I bought this for my son as a gift and he uses it multiple times a week. This towel has kept its softness through very many washings.

Very warm, great fit, lots of room to get changed in.
