fun and safe
I took out the airplane first and my grandson loves it. He makes a noise while pushing it. He loves for me to make it fly in the air and land at his feet. Will try the car in a few weeks. This set is great for little ones, since they have to taste everything first and in-between. Very safe, just the right size for little hands. I like the fact that you have to use a little more imagination with these, which is very good. Too many toys out there with too many sounds. Just push it around and make the sound and baby is sure to imitate or make up his own. Can be much more fun than one that already has sound. Great set, nice polished wood, and great price for 3 toys.

It was her favorite present. The vehicles are big and chunky
My one year old daughter loves cars, so we got her this set for her birthday. It was her favorite present. The vehicles are big and chunky, the perfect size for her little hands to grab. She tries to push them around on the carpet, and will play with them for quite a while at a time. They are simple, sturdy wooden vehicles that are perfect for kids to learn about cars and use their own imaginations. And the colors are so bright and happy!

Well-made
These vehicles are beautifully constructed and painted. I would recommend them for older children who are less likely to throw them or hit someone with them.

Cute, bright and hours of imaginative fun for toddlers!
Perfect basic vehicle toys - large enough not to lose and not be a choking hazard, but perfect for toddler hands to grasp and maneuver. My daughter would always gravitate to the helicopter toy in this trio that someone had donated to our local library. We bought her a set of her own and she loves making helicopter sounds as she "flies" the toy around, and I like to ask her "which one is the biggest? which one has two wheels?" These rolling toys are bright, colorful, and simple while still captivating my 19 month old. Best of all: no annoying recorded robot speech on repeat. :)

Simple and sturdy - a good buy
These simple wooden cars, trucks and planes are great first toys for little hands. I bought them for my grandson for Christmas and at age 13 months, they caught his attention right away. I think it was the bright primary colors. They are simple and sturdy and hold up to him leaning on them as he runs them along the floor. A good buy. You can always count on Melissa and Doug!

Broken!
The wing of the plane broke off in my 11-month old daughters mouth.

Nice weight wooden toy
When it comes to Melissa and Doug, its hit or miss with the quality of their products -- Especially anything made from wood because they will use the lightest and most flimsy kind they can get away with. This toy-set is the exception. Someone with a brain is currently in charge of production for these because each one of the vehicles is well built and the wood has a nice weight to it. It does not feel like you are holding a block of Styrofoam or cork. Its real wood and the toy did not come apart when I accidentally dropped the plane, while I was taking it out of the box.My daughter enjoys all three and especially likes that the propeller on the plane spins when flicked.. I didn't think it would even move so that was a nice surprise. If you buy this around the time this post was made, your chances of getting a good quality set are high. Wait too long and you may get one from a lower quality batch. Its hit or miss with this company. They promise gold old fashioned toys but forget to include the quality people expect from old fashioned...

Quite unintesting toys
Quite boring and uninteresting wooden toys, but sturdy. Was quite disappointed when I got them for my 1 year old, and he has hardly played with them. I should have gotten a single but at least nice & interesting wooden car or plane instead. Will hand on very soon, do not get played with. Plan has propellor, but I hadunderstood it would spin if the plan moves , but no, you can make it spin with the finger (and not that easily either), that's it.
