Dime Helmet

The helmet comes with two sets of pads to adjust for head size. If they don't work then this helmet isn't for you. There is no dial adjust.Our 4 year old wanted a green skate style helmet. He has a 51 cm head. We initially tried the small but it was too large and slid around with the largest pads inserted. That is unacceptable for a helmet. We exchanged it for the extra small. The xs pretty much fits perfectly with the smaller pads so I'm concerned we'll only get one season of use. The quality of the helmet is great and my son loves the neon green.Like others, we found the chin straps to be longer than necessary. The strap is at the smallest setting on our xs and is acceptable but I wish we could tighten another 1/4 inch.

Both of our boys have these and love them. I imagined it would be a struggle to get them to wear a helmet but they love them and they must be comfortable because my kids don’t complain at all about them and sometimes they forget they are wearing it and I have to tell them to take it off. The inside is cushy, the straps adjust and hold easily and the fit is spot on. Plus my husband and I love the matte finish and smooth texture of the outside. Overall we are very happy with it and when the boys need bigger ones we know what to order.

I think for the price you can't beat it. We bought this in tangent with a little 3-wheel scooter for our 2-yr old. She picked up riding the scooter immediately, and also fell 2 minutes later...right on her head! We've had this a month and a half now, and it's saved the back of her head (from hard concrete smacks) twice. Each time she fell, she didn't cry. The helmet has done its job, and she likes to wear it around the house. So it must be comfortable for her to not mind it being on for several hours at a time. Great buy.

My big headed 5 year old loves her helmet, seems very adjustable, comfortable and secure. The matte finish did attract a bunch of scuffs over time, so if you have to have something flawless looking that may be a drawback for you. But all things considered I trust this helmet to protect my kid, and that's priceless.

We got this to replace my 8 year daughter’s old helmet because it was beat and loose. I matched the of her old helmet. I was worried it would be loose also but the size small fir her perfectly. The helmet matched the controur of her head and sat in place. Material also seemed real good quality. The color matched shown on the picture. She loves it!

We value the protection our kid's helmets provide. We have two rough boys who love to bike and skate. This helmet is a life saver. We have loved how it fits and the way it looks. Very clean lines, simple, and adjustable. The comfort is great and our kids can wear on long trips (4+hrs). The materials are very nice and the fitting is incredible. If you have kids and you value a good head protector, get this helmet.

It's her second bike helmet, and my pink-averse daughter is pleased. We had a "nut case" model for years. I know they are supposed to be the best, but we found nutcase helmets hard (impossible?) to adjust properly, and they never seem to sit right. This Giro helmet is easy to adjust, and we are happy. Super bright - & the monster detail on the back is cute.
