I learned at the Essence of Argan website that company claims to be the leading Argan Oil producer of this trendy ingredient. This facial oil also relies on effective Hyaluronic Acid, highly respected and effective for helping in removing fine lines. The challenge with most skincare products with Hyaluronic Acid is knowing just how much you are getting. Drugstore brands often provide a modest .25 percent while products with at least 1% provide clinically proven benefits. The ingredients list states it contains less than 8,000 daltons, considered to be a low molecular weight that nevertheless can have a lasting anti-wrinkle effect.However, with “Argan Oil” in the title of the product, as I reviewied this products ingredients, the chemical name for Argan Oil (Argania Spinosa) is not listed at the company’s website. I decided to call the company anonymously to ask. A supervisor said she is not sure why Argan Oil not on the ingredients list but that the company will review its website.Fortunately, the ingredients list on the bottle is different what what’s listed at the company website and “Argania Spinosa” is indeed listed. The inconsistencies do worry me. I will be happy to come back and update the review if corrections and clarity are forthcoming. Essence of Argan is to be credited for listing daltons of hyaluronic acid, although percentage is more commonly listed. Most skincare lines make you guess you much you are getting.

With any serum, you won't notice an actual difference in your skin for quite a while, so I'll just review how it feels and seems to work. The main purpose of hyaluronic acid is to help your skin retain moisture, so it's best to use this immediately after washing your face when you skin is still a bit moist. This is a thicker serum and clear. It goes on easily and feels a bit tacky afterward so I find it works best if I give it a good minute or so to soak in before applying anything else over it. If you are using more than one serum, use this one first since it's meant to bind with the moisture in your skin already and keep it there. After a minute, I apply a second serum that is lighter and I have no problem with them balling up or reacting weird. Every serum is different -- as is everyone's skin -- so this part is just something you have to experiment with. But give this one time to soak in and you'll have better luck with applying a second serum.This one does have a bit of an odd smell, kind of clinical like something you'd get in a doctor's office. It's not bad, just not what most serums smell like, if they smell at all. The scent goes away pretty quick so it's not an issue for me.As for how it works, I will say that my skin still feels hydrated in the morning and not dry, so that's good. I have dry skin and live in a dry climate so anything that helps my face retain moisture is welcome. And I've used argan oil for many years so I'm used to how that feels. I can't tell how much of it is in this serum but it's not enough that you can smell it, so probably not a lot. I typically use a pure argan oil as one of my products anyway so it's not a big deal for me.Overall I think this is a nice serum and seems to help keep my skin hydrated. I'll keep using it and update my review if anything changes or I notice anything different.

I have been using this daily for two weeks now and I must say it is a lovely smooth lightweight oil that keeps my skin hydrated for hours!! I have noticed softer smoother skin on my old face and I love the light hint of Argan Oil, it smells so earthy and pure!! I think this is a great oil to keep older skin hydrated and looking younger!! Thank you!!!

I’m not sure about this. On the one hand I love it because it really makes the face feel taught and firm. On the other hand, it wasn’t really amazing.Pros: tightening and firming of the skin. Feels like it’s really working. Lightweight and nice. Love the ingredients. Has a nice citrusy smell along with some other notes.Cons: feels sort of sticky like I rubbed an orange slice on my face. Maybe it’s from the ingredients that are so raw and natural? This isn’t a deal breaker. In a way, it shows how natural it is.I’ll keep trying it because I love hyaluronic acid. I guess I was expecting more of the feel of hyaluronic acid. It didn’t feel very hydrating but it worked great after having on as far as something under makeup. Idk how it would be for dry skin. Seems more like it’s geared for oily. But I think they may be the firming of it. It’s simple and natural. So you can’t go wrong I guess. I was surprised at how good my skin still felt after working 12 hours with makeup on and wearing a hospital mask all night.

Honest review here.What is listed on this listing for ingredients is not exactly what is actually it the bottle. Concerning and hence the 4 star review. The question revolves around how much and if any this has of argan oil. I reached out to the company but was unsuccessful in getting a clear response.I actually really like the feel of the oil and how hydrating it is... so I will use it and I do like it.I also like that it has anti-inflammatory compounds, essential fatty acids and vitamin E infused formula.Hope this was helpful!

I love that half of the ingredients list of this serum are botanical: argan spinosa, aloe vera leaf juice, chamomile flower extract, green tea leaf extract, olive leaf extract, orange oil. It smells and has the consistency of aloe vera juice, which is clear, thick liquid. It instantly soaks into my skin, leaving it cool and slightly tacky which quickly dissipates. My skin feels extremely hydrated and soft. I then apply my moisturizer for the day or night.

This oil was absorbed nicely by my skin, it felt soothing

The oil is lovely to use and feels nice on my skin, but I have not seen any real results as to the effectiveness in reducing wrinkles even though I have been using it for several weeks. However it feels nice and my skin has improved in texture. Even though I don't believe it is a miracle cure, I do feel that persistent use will provide further improvements.
