BANDAI SPIRITS1/144 Shining Gundam Plastic Model Kit from 'Mobile Fighter G Gundam'

Easy to put together used my new God hand nippers on it. Great to put in poses with God Gundam.

If you're picking this up, be aware: this kit's from 2011. It's modern and it's good. But it's also not up to the standards of HG kits circa 2020 or 2021. The plastic quality is good, the build is easy and fun, the stickers aren't excessive, but there's some loose joints (particularly the wrists and thighs) that you'll want to tighten up with a later of nail topcoat (or paint or whatever), and it can't strike the huge variety of dynamic poses that more modern kits can do.That said, it's still a very good kit, and a fantastic likeness of the Shining Gundam. My one big gripe with this kit that can't be fixed with nailpolish is that the larger translucent green hand part just kind of 'rests' on top of the smaller translucent green hand. It doesn't lock in and it's not going to stay on unless you've got the hand at an upward angle. It looks great! But it just doesn't work as well as I'd hoped.Everything else is wonderful. Love this Gundam, love G Gundam, and am more than satisfied with the kit.

Came in a shockingly intact box with only a massive dent in one bit of it, 2 of the aesthetic parts of a runner broke off that didn't matter. I checked thoroughly to make sure I had everything but one of the #11 pieces off the PC-001 runner was detached. I spent 3 hours looking that box over thoroughly and the floor of my room as well as the amazon package for it, nothing, didn't exist. And without it I couldn't make all 4 of the limbs so I had to order a spare replacement for 10$ off MechaPartsGuy.

so it is a fun build but this gug is tiny. around the size of like krillen or frieza models for dbz (know to be short characters). and didnt have the gold stickers for the leg and wrist things for shinning mode

I really liked this kit. Not very hard to assemble for a novice like me but yeah those stickers. Still a pretty good kit.

Fun to assemble, about 6 hrs to complete. No missing pieces, shipping was quick. Very happy with purchase. Parts fit correctly and model is poseable, but the big green hand has to be propped up with a particular pose of the model. It doesn't snap in.

One of my favorite Gundams, and it's done some very nice justice. I only wish they included some more hand options.
