Is this jug compatible with buffalo blender 2.5ltr with sound enclosure 1.68kw - model dr825 ? from the look of it, seems ok to me... many thanks

Hello yes it is. That is the one I have and it does fit. With all that said, we used the Buffalo blenders for a while at my shake and smoothie business and the blender jugs do fail continuously, so people like you and me are forced to purchase new blender jugs much too often. We have recently switched to the more expensive Vitamix blenders and can already tell the blender jugs are much more robust. So you will pay more at initial investment but the jugs will last much longer .... Not what you wanted to hear probably but this is my experience!
