The little details..
The little details of the design of this heat shield is what scored this high for me.There isn’t much universal heat shields on Amazon. I had tried the Spectre heat shield for my intake and was disappointed - that’s a whole different story.Upon opening up this carefully packaged product, it was l disassembled”- a good thing for me. You have to do the rubber edging, the reflection shield, not much at all. The shield itself was still wrapped with film which you peel off. This I’m sure was to prevent any scratches to the finish.Once everything was together the rubber edges helped prevent scratching or banging other engine components during installation. The clamp and the K&N cone 3” filter I had purchased separately fit all well together.What I particularly liked about this shield is that the “hooks” allowed for the filter to breath - other shields blocked everything at the neck which at first, I thought was good to prevent heat soak, but soon to find out that it didn’t allow the filter to breath and actually trapped heat within the shield.As for blocking heat it had done a great job in blocking heat from my exhaust / turbo manifold from the filter and with the heat reflection shield under neath the shield helped reflect heat from being trapped.All these little things that the designers/fabricator had put thought into this product was present to me and I’m satisfied with it.

Its a heat shield
Of all the filter-mounted heat shields available, this is the least cheap looking examble. Plus it has actual heat insulation not just metal. Well made with rubber trim on the edges of the metal.

Received with loose rivets on 2 out of the 3 mounting clamps securing heat shield

Pretty good
Pretty simple to install, I used it on a K&N 2.5" intake. Almost touches the filter as it a big one but still pretty cool and seems like will keep that hot air out of the way nicely

Does what they intended
I thought the metal would look nice like how it does in the photo so a little disappointed but metal is metal in the end of the day does what I needed it to do every little thing helps
