The Isle of Cats - Rescue as Many Cats As Possible for 1-4 Players, Ages 8+

We LOVE this game. In the beginning, it looked complicated. So we started with the family version of the game, which was very easy to pick up. Now we're ready to move on. We have 8,11, and 14 year olds in our family and they can play the family version with no problem. The game also has a solo game, which is a great added feature AND when I went exploring on their website, they have a remote version! So, if one person has a base game, you can play the remote version on video chat with friends who live far away. This was an unexpected and huge bonus for us and we're really excited the play it. The game is also well made, with nice artwork, quality pieces. I look forward to other offerings from this company.

If you like kitties, Tetris, and games like 7 Wonders, you'll like this game. Game came plastic wrap sealed and in good shape. The game itself is very fun and not too hard to learn, though has enough depth and strategy that it doesn't get old. All prints and pieces look great and are made of a thick material that seems like it would last a long while.

We have 5 cats and I am a veterinarian. My husband and I love playing this game. The artwork is magnificent and the pieces are of overall good quality. Some of our edges are starting to come up a bit, so it would be great if the cat pieces were sealed a little better. This has not been a major issue, but could be an improvement. We have not gotten any of the expansions yet, but may do so in the future.

This is a unique board game with great art and design and well crafted rules. There is a lot of replayability here: the strategy you implement can we wildly different depending on your cards. The rules have a nice balance of being sophisticated for a board game but approachable. There are a LOT of cards in the deck, and only one for which we could not see any advantage in playing. I put this game at my highest tier of the best games I have played, along with Carcassonne ad Catan.

Love this game! Really pleasant and satisfying. The instructions are a little complex, but once you get going it’s a breeze. So cute, I just wish it had containers for all the different pieces to help organize while playing. Also would love if the pieces were wood not cardboard.

Fun game to for friend game night!

There's is hardly anything I can say that's bad about this game!! First off the quality you get for the price was phenomenal I wasnt expecting such well made components for under 40 dollars!! Comes in a sturdy well made box lots of sufficient and extra storage to bag up the components; the player boards are thick and well made the artwork is adorable yet unique and creative as well. Even if you're colorblind the artwork allows for you still to individually tell groups apart because of well thought out art design and iconography which a very classy move by the makers. I thought the gameplay would be lax but playing competitively I never would've thought how challenging and thought provoking the special awareness aspect would be! A very easy to learn concept and rulebook and a very high quality design and very fun challenge. One of my new top favorites for sure!!

My ten year old son received this for Christmas. It is such a fun game! There are three modes to play. You can play a quicker, easier family mode, a solo mode, or the regular version. We have played the family mode and regular mode and loved them both. In the game, you are trying to collect cats and fit them on your boat. Think Tetris style of puzzling to get your cats to fit. There are several phases to each turn, but once you go through them a couple of times it is easy to get the hang of. Definitely some strategic thinking needed but it is not too challenging. The game pieces are vibrantly colored and sturdy and the box is very sturdy.
