These were well made with very little splitting of bamboo fibers meaning it was almost perfectly smooth. I wanted to paint the outer hoop for more interest so I began by sanding it with very fine sandpaper. I then put on a coat of acrylic paint, which it accepted very well. I finished with a coat of medium gloss varnish and they turned out great.

These embroidery hoops are exactly what I was looking for to make some Tree of Life dream catchers. Although narrow - less than 1/2 inch - they are very smooth and I don't anticipate any trouble using them. Because they came from a Third-party vendor they took several weeks to arrive but I feel they were worth the wait.

These rings are really nice, the metal screws on the sides are very nice, not flimsy like what you get at JoAnns or Michaels. The only drawback was the shipping too FOREVER to get here. If you are crafting and want these, I’d order 6 weeks ahead of time. I think it took my order at least that. However they are worth it. My craft will be very nicely made. 15 inch rings are not available in any locations here either.

These took forever to arrive. I ordered them on May 30, they arrived on July 22. They’re alright for the price. There is some splintering on the edges, and they seem a little flimsy, but should suit my purpose of using them just as display hoops.

These are bamboo so they are pretty good I’ve have had some that I had to sand a little spot, but I like the knots on the screw part holds it tight.
