I love that this item comes from a jewelery maker in the states. It is pretty, and the personalization is a nice touch. The production and shipping was much faster than I expected. That being said, it feels and looks cheaper than the $62 I paid for it. The price you see on the selling page is just for the necklace/pendant with a 15 inch chain. I needed a 20 inch chain (it's a gift for my 18 year old niece), which was $5 more, and engraving was $7 for each side. The chain is so lightweight I'm worried about the durability, and the engraving seemed high-priced. I put a quarter with my picture to show how small and slight it is. I'm not saying the seller's pictures were inaccurate, I just wanted to give another perspective. The gold on the pendant is gold 'vermeil' which means it's a layer of gold over sterling silver. It should be more durable than gold leaf/plating, but be sure not to treat it like gold jewelry or it will get ruined. (Don't use any cleaners on it and don't get it wet.) I'm sure my niece will like it, I just think some of the add-ons are over-priced.

I was looking for a peridot jewelry (birthstone of 1st born child) for sometime. And I’m glad I waited. It’s beautiful and dainty and chain compliments the pendant and vice versa. This necklace is perfect for daily wear! I recommend to a friend.

This was so cool and perfect. Perfect length system and i love the chain plus her peridot was spot on. I wish the writting was bigger but it was still a good size if it had been thicker or just a little deeper idk it looked like u had just a tad more room.
