The hat came with some foam pads that you can stick inside (at least that’s what I did with them). This, along with the adjustable string, helps snug the hat to your head. It looks great and isn’t bad for a hat <$30. I may spray it with Scotchgard to waterproof it some but I’m not sure how it would hold up to any moisture, even Scotchgard. But it’s for a wedding and it only needs to last a day. Hopefully it will last longer!

The hat is very pretty to look at, but it doesn’t fit properly too large.I presumed it was a wool felt, but it feels like cardboard.

As I have never worn a hat, a new experience for me. It's a good quality hat that I plan on using a lot. Good Value!
