Good glue, GREAT varnish
I use this for a lot of projects. It mixes so well with water when you want a smooth glassy look as a coating. It protects acrylic paint and polymer clay so well. Once there are 2 coats it's hard to damage the items. It can be a bit thick when undiluted. It dries completely clear. I was able to use it to glue some things together, but always secured it with a stronger glue. It has covered so many projects. I love it! The nozzle sometimes clogs but it is easy to clear with a small piece of wire or a pin.

A New Bottle Works Much Better!
I was in a hurry to meet a deadline and didn't have time to wait for resin to cure. (Besides the fact that I'm painfully impatient in most crafting areas. I. Want. Results. Now.) I found my bottle of Diamond Glaze and went to it...but was disappointed in the results. Goopy. Bloppy. Bubbles way down at the bottom. Slightly yellow. Just not cool. I knew the bottle had been around awhile - but I had only used it once, putting it back on my shelf because I wasn't thrilled with the less-than-perfectly-hard results I obtained the first time. I suppose I should add that to my issues with my second use, too. I ordered a new bottle and must admit I'm pretty happy with the results. This bottle is much clearer. I still had a few bubbles I had to fish out - and no, I didn't shake it before use. In fact, I've found it helpful to keep all items like this upside down in a coffee mug. That way they are ready to go - no shaking, no rolling, and no "pffft" noises. (Maybe I've raised too many boys??) Storing it this way reduces the chance of bubbles by keeping excess air out - and the product seems to stay well-constituted. Anyway...although I was much happier with this bottle, it also never seemed to get totally hard. It got much harder than Gel Du Soliel - but not as hard as resin. If you have experience with similar products, I would say this is better than Gel Du Soliel and Fluxe - ranking below liquid varathane (due to the final hardness). Very similar to 3D Crystal Lacquer. (Rereading that last sentence makes it very apparent I have an illness when it comes to art supplies because yes, I have all that I've listed. And aren't they all basically the same thing??) Bottom line: I will buy this again. I will use this again. I still prefer actual resin...but Diamond Glaze is a rockin' alternative when you don't have the supplies, time, or energy for resin. This is also a spectacular alternative to resin when working with kiddos!

Great for Crafting – Just Watch Your Technique!
I used this glue as part of a magnet-making project, and it worked really well for what I needed! I had a kit where the top of the magnet (a glass dome) needed to be glued to an image, which was already attached to the magnet backing. The Diamond Glaze created a nice seal with a slight glossy finish that actually enhanced the final look. The glue is pretty thick—which is great for staying in place—but it was thick enough that I wanted to thin it out a bit. Just a heads up: if you do try to water it down, add just a little at a time. I thinned mine too much and ended up wasting more than I wanted to. Lesson learned! Also, small user error on my part—I didn’t realize the nozzle tip needed to be cut before use (oops), so when I squeezed the bottle, the glue came out around the cap instead of through the top. Once I figured that out, it worked just fine. As far as value for the money, I’d say it was an okay deal. Not super cheap, but it did the job and a little goes a long way if you use it right. Overall, I’d definitely use this again—just with a bit more care and experience next time!

A product that works as it designed for use.
A product I use as a glue, however, works best making jewelry, gives a beautiful resin effect.
