Excellent bedside/reading lamp. I was a bit concerned as 3W / 280lm LED power output meant nothing to me and wasn't sure whether this will give enough light to read a book before going to bed. Hence I had this dilemma whether to buy this model or the round shaped one which is 4W / 350lm. I liked the compact shape and fine design of the flute type so gave it a go and not only wasn't disappointed but was actually very pleasantly surprised how bright these tiny lights are. I can assure everyone they are more than enough for reading and in fact are so bright that I had to dim them to about 60-70% for reading and on full power the two lights that I bought were enough to illuminate the whole bedroom. At about 10-20% power these are ideal ambient light for watching tv or just to have some light during the night for people who can't sleep in the dark. There were some reviews about remote control not working. I strongly believe these are from customers who haven't noticed the piece of clear plastic protecting and isolating the battery during transport/storage and which need to be removed before the first use. I had absolutely no issues with using the remote and I particularly liked the fact that I can control both lights with just one remote so the amount of light on both sides of the bed is exactly the same and creates a nice feeling of symmerty. Also apart from the 4 preset brightness levels there is an option for stepless control of the brightness which I really like. I still haven't tried the timer option as I'm not used to it (I haven't had a light with such feature so far) but I think it is very helpful to have it. Last but not least these lights do not need charging, additional cables and adaptors as they do not run on batteries but are plugged straight into the socket so no worries whether they have enough charge like the previous LED lights that I used. I highly recommend these lights as they are not only look cool, but are also very bright, packed with features and the built quality is great too.

Great product, I use mine as a bedside light, would be cool if you could control from your phone but good for the price

Super bright & options for settings. Does get a little warm if left on for long periods so I always use the timer now to be sure it doesn't overheat

It didn't work!! The plug was faulty and sometimes connected but not always. The remote control didn't work at all. Rubbish product

Super little lamp. Sits neatly against wall socket. Has different settings to control brightness and the remote is great even has timer function. No need to buy batteries or insert them just pull out the little tab on the remote and it’s ready to use. Brilliant. And 3w will be cheap to use. Hopefully it will last, am impressed so far and highly recommend buying one.- was so happy with it I bought a second for living room !

It looks good, very bright at its maximum and the remote works well. Keep in mind that you need to sync the remote, might take a few tries so read the manual

The light is unobtrusive and works very well in our bedroom. After purchasing the first, we immediately bought another, so there's one each side of our bed and they're so good for reading. I guess the electric sockets have to be in the right place, but we did redecorate and reorganise the room with that in mind. The dimmable facility is great. It's not proved to be a difficulty, but both lights respond to each remote, so it's not actually possible to operate each of them independently as far as I can fathom out. Nonetheless, I totally recommend these. An excellent product for a very reasonable cost.
