I bought this for a stubborn boil. I put on a decent amount, put a band-aid over it, and left it overnight. The next morning, it was significantly less swollen, and within two or three days, it completely went away just from that one use.A lot of the reviews mentioned a strong scent, it smells a little bit like tar, butit'ss so light I could hardly smell it. It's a dark black/brown, and I got a little on my shirt, but it didn't stain.

HOly cow, this stuff is amazing. Never had a boil before but have one now and my god, this works quick. ITs sticky, thick, and smells a tad, but overall not terrible. Might stain clothes, but i used a band aid to protect just in case.

Great product, had a cyst on my back and doctor gave me antibiotics which helped with the inflammation but not the pain and it wouldn't pop. Was told not to pop it manually so I ordered this; and after a day or two it finally popped! Nasty pus came out and it's thankful that this product was so good at getting the cyst to finally open.

Product works well with relief in hours. This product is black and will stain clothing. Also stings like crazy.

I’m amazed at how well this worked! I’ve had a cyst on my back shoulder blade for nearly 6 months that I haven’t had any luck getting rid of. I applied a thick layer of this ointment on the cyst, placed a bandage over it and let it work its magic overnight. The next morning when I removed the bandage the cyst was draining and I was able to completely remove it!!! Such a relief and I’m able to happily wear tank tops again that reveal my back!

This is the best thing for recluse spider bites. It draws out the venom out before rotting the skin, if you get to it in time. You can also use it for splinters, or other bug bites.

This was pretty good for boils and other random big bumps that came up on my skin. How I used it for boils differs from how I used it for other bumps. For boils, it worked best for me when I put a little on a piece of gauze or cotton and used a band aid to keep it in place overnight. It would drastically reduce the size by the next day. For bumps, I'd just dab a little on them individually. However, this ointment gets very runny in warmer temperatures. However, it's a very handy ointment to have around.
