mCover iPearl Hard Shell Case for 13.3-inch ASUS ZENBOOK UX305FA Series (NOT Fitting UX305LA Series) Laptop - Purple

I was impressed by the fast shipping, I received this in 4 days and the original estimate was at least one week. The case came in a plastic pouch with button snap closures, nice to have to keep any manuals or papers for my computer. The case has a clear glaze effect to it, so it's not completely crystal clear like glass, but I like the glazed effect. It was an easy application, just snapped it on and it was ready to go. I know some people had problems with the bottom not fitting, but it looks like the seller made it clear now that this case only fits the UX305FA series of zenbooks, which is the older version. I have not used the kickstand to prop up my laptop, so I can't speak about that.My only cons about the case are 1) the bottom part is not very attractive because it looks like a rack with a bunch of holes, but this is not a huge problem since I can't see the bottom most of the time. The other thing is that while other colors were eligible for prime shipping, the clear one was not so I had to pay $5 for shipping. Overall, I love having more protection from scratches, spills, or drops with the case. This laptop is very thin, so I appreciate that the case adds a little more thickness. Great case for my one year old ASUS Zenbook UX305F. I brought this laptop last year for professional school because of the long battery life. I kept it in my backpack with a laptop zipper sleeve. Recently noticed a bend and scratch on the right upper corner of my laptop possibility due to improper handling when I swing my backpack down on the floor in school (I thought the zipper sleeve plus backpack was enough to protect it). After searching around on the internet, I found this hard shell case and brought it to prevent my laptop from further damage. This case is transparent blue in color, the dark gray frame of my laptop makes it a beautify royal blue color after assembled. It is super easy to put on, takes less than 5 mins. It fits and seem to cover all corners really well, and the material is hard, so I believe it will provide good protection for my laptop. The bottom piece has openings for heat release and build in laptop feet so that I can incline it to a better typing position, which is definitely a plus. The only downside of this case is that it creates a clicking sound every time I open the laptop, because the bottom piece has two place that extends up and touches the top piece (see picture), which pops every time I opens it. However, I don't see any scratches created from this problem, so it should be fine.

I was worried it wouldn't fit the newest, CA model, but it fits very nicely. The blue looks fairly medium in color from the picture but it is slightly translucent. Since the body of the UX305CA is a dark color, the overall look is more of a dark blue with a matte finish.The kick stands are very nice for when you're using the computer on a tight desk with other papers, etc.Overall, very good buy, and it is just about the only case out there for this PC. The reason it lost one star is because the lower half clip near the screen rubs and sometimes pops the corner off when the lid is closed. I may sand it down just a touch to get it to not rub anymore.

I got the for my ultra book, This one is for a slightly different model from mine (i think this is for the touchscreen version) but it still fit mine. it was a bit hard to get it on, and wasn't a perfect fit and made a creaking noise when I open or shut, but it i guess has worn down enough to not do that anymore. it is not a solid piece of plastic for the bottom like the top to allow more airflow, and has little kick stand leg things to angle your laptop. the rubber pads on the front came off pretty fast, but that's just a very mild inconvenience.

I thought this case would be more like a pearl silicon finish over some plastic (like the Mac ones) but it isn't. It literally is just a matte plastic so it's not as protective as those. Also the color doesn't show up as well if you have a dark laptop (wouldnt be problem with the mac ones) but it's okay. It does what it's supposed to and fits the Asus UX305CA model. However sometimes the when you open the laptop case scrapes against each other but it's nothing critical. Overall a good cover, had I known I would've gotten a lighter color cause the purple looks more black than it does in the photo.

Fits my Asus Zenbook UX305 FA perfectly. Now I am more comfortable knowing that my computer is scratch proof. This is a great product, essential for a laptop computer. Regarding color : the green color shell case does not really work well with my black color laptop because the shell is transparent. In retrospect I should have bought a darker color shell case.I would suggest to future buyers to order a darker color for a black laptop and a lighter color for a silver or white laptop.

I really was excited to get this today as a decal I ordered had just arrived as well and I was so excited to slap this on my computer, and then slap the decal on the shell so my laptop was a little more personalized. I nearly skipped to my schools mail office I was so excited. I got back to my dorm though and opened the packaged, inspected the shell to make sure there was no cracks or breaks or anything. Well, the top cover fit nicely, but as soon as I came to put the bottom piece on it wouldn't fit! I figured maybe I'm just missing some kind of vital piece of information so I checked the box for instructions and none were given so I'm assuming that it really should be as easy as snapping it in place. I know that these were just released a couple of days ago so maybe they just had a slight error in processing, I'm not sure what the issue is but all I know is that the shell they sent didn't fit my laptop and now I'm sad that I'll have to wait or decide to put the decal straight on my laptop.. :( I hope this issue is fixed soon, but for now I'll be shipping this back to amazon.Edit: When this item was first released they had a bunch of different models listed as fitting it. Well they've changed that to just the 305fa.

The back case of the laptop comes off vey easily and for 75$ it appears as cheap.
