Q: For Muse feeders: Are the threads on the glass bottle made of glued-on plastic, or are the threads made of glass (ie, part of the glass bottle)?

Hello, the thread is blown together with the glass and it is part of the glass. Thread shedding and liquid leakage would not occur with such a design. Hope it can help you.

Q: I just received this and it leaks from around the flowers, dripping nectar. The gasket is on and it does not leak from the base. Please help.

I thought mine was leaking too, but, at least for me, I discovered it leaked because of the wind. Because the base is full with the nectar, when it's windy enough to cause it to move, even the slightest movement, the nectar will drip out of one of the flowers. The movement creates a little bit of tipping so a little nectar gets out through the flower holes. I'm very pleased with my feeder and it's attracting hummers to my yard.
